July Box Details ($70.49+ total value)
“The July Beauty Box theme is: Pack N Go Essentials. Whether you’re camping at your favorite National Park, flying, or hitting the gym, the July Beauty Box has the essentials you’ll want to pack. Discover my new favorite shampoo bar from Superzero that will inspire you to ditch those plastic bottles. Sustainable, 100% plastic-free, and packed with luxurious ingredients that leave your hair soft and manageable. Also, you’ll experience nourishing {Save} moisturizers that are biodegradable, eco-conscious, and formulated with rejuvenating ingredients like Bamboo Bioferment and Bakuchiol. These plus 3 more summer treats valued at over $70.”
Here’s a look at what’s in the July Vegancuts Beauty Box:
Superzero – Mini Shampoo Bar (Normal or Dry) ($6)
“In circular motion, rub the bar over fully wet hair forming a lather. Rinse to clean. Certified microplastic free and climate neutral, Superzero does not sacrifice performance for sustainability.”
Out of the two options to receive I got the normal hair bar which is great, though either would have worked since I’d say I have normal to dry hair. I love trying out new shampoo bars and have never heard of this one before. It’s a cute little size that’s perfect for testing out and it smells amazing. It’s made with juniper berry, bergamot, eucalyptus and lavender oils so it’s very fresh and uplifting. I can’t wait to see how this works for my hair.
Save – Ultra-light, Rejuvenating or Anti-pollution Moisturizer ($23+)
“Apply daily to clean, dry skin. Gently massage until fully absorbed. These moisturizers leave skin hydrated and restored with ingredients like Bamboo Bioferment to support skin renewal, anti-aging Bakuchiol and Ectoin to repair skin’s protective barrier.”
Out of the two options I received the Rejuvenating Moisturizer. It sounds like a nourishing treat for skin with shea butter and coconut oil and the bakuchiol can help clear and brighten. I unfortunately can’t usually use coconut oil on my skin, so I may test this one out, or will certainly pass it along to someone who can.
Eco Lips – Sweet Mint, Lemon-Lime or Superfruit Bee Free Lip Balm ($3.50)
“Formulated with organic fair trade cacao butter and coconut oil these lip balms treat rough dry lips leaving them soft and supple. Not only bee free, but also 100% plastic free, packaged in plant-based Plant Pod tubes crafted from farm byproducts. Eco and effective.”
I received the Sweet Mint Lip balm which is perfectly cooling and refreshing for summer lips. The other scents sounds delightful too, but I do generally prefer mint balms. You can never have too many of these either, one for every bag is always a good plan.
Lemon Organics – Organic Hand Sanitizer ($7.99)
“Made for sensitive skin, this biobased organic hand sanitizer is never sticky and leaves hands refreshed and soft thanks to repairing agents like aloe and jojoba.”
Since we live in the times of hand sanitizer this is the perfect item. Just like they say above, it’s not sticky at all and absorbs well. It smells really nice and citrus-y. I like the bright scent a lot! This will be the perfect size to put in the diaper bag for when we are out and about.
Gypsy Soul Organics – Yoga Mist Mat, Body and Room Spray ($30)
“Discover this versatile spray can be used to mist yoga mats, rooms or body. Aromatherapy from pure essential oils like bergamot and lavender paired with odor neutralizing witch hazel and antimicrobial tea tree oil make this a wonderful addition to your car, gym bag or home. To refresh and energize lightly mist into air, body, or directly on yoga mat.”
This aroma mist is so lovely! It smells really nice with a grounding herbal aroma. I can’t wait to roll out my mat and get back to practicing so I can use this mist as a complement.
Vegancuts Beauty Box Review July 2021 – Final Thoughts
I love this month’s Vegancuts Beauty Box! Each item is something I want to try right away or am at least curious about trying (ie: the moisturizer- I really wish it would work for me because it sounds really nice). I appreciate the variety in this month’s curation as it covers everything from hair care and skincare, to body care and yoga care. I also like the theme of on-the-go items so that everything is smaller for traveling purposes. It seems like they fit in an extra item because of that which is fun. Now it all makes me want to plan a vacation. Soon enough hopefully! And in the meantime, I’m for sure going to test everything out.
