Vegancuts Beauty Box Review October 2019

Vegancuts makes it simple to discover the best vegan products. Their experts search every corner of the cruelty-free world to uncover new vegan brands and meticulously review and select products that they can stand behind. They kindly sent us this box for review.

I have really been enjoying my Vegancuts boxes as of late. They have 3 different subscriptions to choose from and each month I have the pleasure of reviewing the Snacks Box and the Beauty Box. I love both boxes equally and if I ever had to choose between the two I don’t know if I could. Today we are looking at the beauty box, and what I love most about it is the fact that it introduces me to new brands and products each month.

Subscription Details

When you sign up for a Vegancuts subscription you have 3 options to choose from:

Beauty Box ($22.95): The Beauty Box is the easiest way to discover cruelty-free brands without committing to full-size products or prices. Each month they send 4-7 new products to try, ranging from unique cosmetics to luxurious skincare. Typically the contents of the monthly Beauty Box have a retail value of $50+.

Snack Box ($24.95): The Snack Box is great for people who like to try new snacks. Each month they send out a box that’s packed to the brim with 10 or more vegan snacks, ranging from chips to cookies and sodas to teas.

Makeup Box ($39.95): The Quarterly Vegan Makeup Box is an easy and affordable way to try full-size, cruelty-free & vegan makeup. Each quarter they’ll send you four or more new makeup products, ranging from lipstick to mascara to luxe nail lacquer.

Here’s a closer look at the October Vegancuts Beauty Box….

Dirty Lamb Ultra Night Serum ($52)

Our high antioxidant blend of fatty acid oils will keep skin hydrated through the night. Wheat germ oil is natures power house of vitamin e that will bring liveliness to your night skin. Beautiful sweet dreams are on the way with a hint of lavender, ylang ylang, & orange.

Use: Apply 2-3 drops before bed warming between the palms of your hands, patting onto face & neck.

It has been quite some time since I received a product from Dirty Lamb. In fact, I can’t remember the last time I received one. But for some reason, it has been on my radar as of late. It’s a really great brand that focuses on the use of natural ingredients. I’m excited to give this night serum a try because it contains some really great ingredients – sweet almond, grapeseed, avocado, hemp, jojoba and lavender  – among others.

Enfusia Bath Bomb ($3.99)

Fill the bathtub with warm water and drop in the bath bomb. Prefer a shower? Plug the drain and give your feet a soak and enjoy the wonderful scent. Backed by the Butterfly Promise, this product is free from parabens, phthalates, dyes and SLS.

I’m not sure if subscribers received different variations of this product but I received Eucalyptus Lavender. I love the scent up eucalyptus. I find it so uplifting, energizing and refreshing. I prefer showers to baths so I will use it as a shower steamer.

Midflower Hyaluronic Acid Mask ($5)

Made with a SILKARA sheet mask 100% biodegradable, 100% Lyocell, environmentally friendly-cellulose fibre from sustainable resources.

Sheet masks are a great little pampering product to have on hand. You never know when your skin is going to need a little TLC so I like to keep 3 or 4 in my bathroom drawer just in case. I prefer to use them at night before I go to bed as it allows the wonderful ingredients to get to work while I sleep.

Weleda Wild Rose Creamy Body Wash ($3.50)

Certified natural by NATURE, free from synthetic preservatives, fragrances, colorants or raw materials derived from mineral oils.

Use: Massage over wet skin in the bath or shower and rinse off. Will not produce a high lather.

Weleda is a really great brand so I’m always happy to receive it in my subscription boxes. This cream wash has a lovely rose scent, it’s not too overpowering. It will be perfect for my travel bag.

Bonus Cosmetic Item ($24)

We’re sending all of our valued subscribers a little taste of our Makeup Box. Like the Bonus Cosmetic you received? Sign up for our Quarterly Makeup Box.

What a nice surprise! Vegancuts sent all of their subscribers a bonus makeup item this month. I received Emani Cosmetics Soy Mascara in midnight. When it comes to makeup, mascara is one of the few items I will wear on a regular basis. This particular formula is smudge-proof and suitable for the most sensitive eyes. The soy protein extract helps to smooth and condition lashes for a spectacular finish and coverage.

Vegancuts Beauty Box Review October 2019 – Final Thoughts

The October Vegancuts Beauty Box has provided me with some really lovely beauty products. The spotlight item for the month is definitely the Night Serum from Dirty Lamb. I’m beyond excited to give it a try as I’ve had Dirty Lamb on my radar for the last couple months and have been meaning to test out some of their products. Other than that I received a lovely body wash for my travel bag, a sheet mask to pamper my dry skin, a shower steamer and a bonus mascara. Overall I am very impressed with this month’s box. It is tempting me to try out the Vegancuts Makeup Box……I have a feeling I would love it.
