Here’s a closer look at the items I received this month….

June Theme – Sunny Days Pack

Included in every box is a mini flyer with details, descriptions, and instructions for each item. ZenPop also makes note of key ingredients used in the snacks or in the manufacturing facilities, which I think is very considerate to those that have food allergies.

Mini Shoyu Wantan Men (Left)

Despite the miniature size, this bowl was definitely enough to satisfy my ramen lunch craving. It has a very light and flavorful shoyu broth with thin noodles. There were pieces of egg and wantan in there as well, but all of my wantan pieces were somehow broken into bits. Nevertheless, it hit the spot. Plus it only took 3 minutes to make!

Hiyashi Tanuki Udon (Right)

I love receiving these big noodle trays in my ZenPop box as they’re always more than enough to fill me up. This one is a cold noodle version, more specifically, tanuki udon. Because it’s a cold noodle variety, it does take several extra steps to make, including rinsing and draining the noodles in cold water to cool it off. However, the extras steps were definitely worth it since this noodle dish was great and refreshing during the hot summer! I added a boiled egg, some sliced cucumber, and some boiled chicken as extra toppings and it was delicious.

Choco Mint Country Ma’am Cookies

I’m a major fan of mint chocolate chip and these cookies were everything and more! There’s only a handful of mini cookies in the pack, but I savored each one. They have a crunchy outer shell, a chocolate dipped bottom, and a softer middle body with chunks of chocolate and mint chips inside.

Polar Bear Soda Gummy

These paw shaped gummies come in a “white soda” flavor that reminds me a lot of ramune. They have a gummy outer body with a refreshing liquid filled center.

Cool Soda Puccho

Apparently, Japan has a popular blue soda flavor that these chewy candies were modeled after. To me, they taste a lot like ramune, which is sweet and refreshing. These candies have a taffy-like texture (similar to Hi-Chews), but contain gummy bits inside for extra texture and flavor.

BBQ Scorn – Share Pack

The BBQ Scorn chips are super crunchy and the appearance/texture reminds me of Cheetos. However, dare I say these are more delicious?! They’re bursting with sweet and savory bbq flavor in every bite. I couldn’t get myself to share these and kept all 4 mini bags for myself!

Kasugai Peas & You Wasabi Peas

These crispy and crunchy peas are packed full of spicy wasabi flavor. I made the poor mistake for not reading the description of this before popping a handful into my mouth! Personally, I’m not a fan of wasabi, but if you are, these are for you!

Grape Ramune Candy

These tablet shaped candies contain a unique and fruity grape ramune flavor. Pop these in your mouth and feel the refreshing fizz take over!

ZenPop Ramen + Sweets MIX Pack Review June 2019 – Final Thoughts

The June ZenPop Ramen + Sweets MIX Pack was such a treat and full of unique items. The theme this month was Sunny Days Pack and there were tons of refreshing treats, like several ramune/soda inspired picks, mint flavored snacks, and cold noodles that fit perfectly into the theme. There were a lot of tasty snacks this month, but my favorites were the Choco Mint Country Ma’am Cookies (I need more!), the Hiyashi Tanuki Udon, and the BBQ Scorn Chips!
