Gerardo Mendoza Pozos is a young man of only 18 years of age, who has worked hard at perfecting his craft. In just 2 years, he has gone from a helper to an apprentice in the fine art of glass blowing. With the income generated from your Artisan Box purchase, Gerardo has helped his parents build a second floor in their home to allow for more room for his 5 other siblings!
Each glass is finished with dimples on the outer edges, so you may comfortably grip your fingers around the rim. In your sensual journey into Tasting, you’ll quickly see Gerardo’s attention to detail and patience in crafting each glass. We invite you to touch, feel, and sense the unique qualities in each glass, as you sip new beers, wines, and other delicious samplers from around the globe.

Box Details: The GlobeIn Artisan Box offers a themed collection of 4-5 hand-crafted items, including their signature palm leaf hand-woven basket from Oaxaca, Mexico. Each item comes along with a printed story about the artisan who made it. Their goal is to help you discover the world while empowering small producers in remote regions of the world.
