I have been reviewing All Around Vegan since July of this year, and it’s safe to say that this vegan subscription has exceeded my expectations. I truly look forward to receiving this box. I love that it is a box dedicated to those of us who live a vegan lifestyle and I love that they include a variety of items. We get a little bit of everything – snacks, skincare, books, lifestyle products……etc.

Here’s a peek at the items in my November box…..

Munk Pack Oatmeal Cookie

This month we’ve included a few different snack items. The first of which is Munk Pack’s Oatmeal Raisin Spice Protein Cookie. Not only are these cookies vegan and gluten-free, but they also provide a convenient source of plant-based protein.

In a perfect world, all snacks would include plant-based protein. I am always looking for ways to add more protein to my diet and snacks like this are the best way to get the job done. This cookie will be the perfect afternoon treat when I take a break from box reviewing and read a couple chapters from my latest read. It will go perfectly with my afternoon cup of tea.

GimMe Organic Seaweed

The next snack item is GimMe Organic’s Wasabi Roasted Seaweed. Seaweed happens to be a great source of Iodine, and thus these sacks have become a favorite of ours.

Wow, it has been a long time since this little snack showed up in one of my subscription boxes. In fact, I almost forgot about it. I use to eat roasted seaweed quite often. This was the perfect reminder to get my butt to the store and buy a few more packages. It’s the perfect snack when you need something salty and crispy.

Ocho Chocolate Coconut Bar

The third snack is Ocho’s Chocolate Coconut Bar. We know a lot of people used to eat Mounds Bars or Almond Joys and luckily Ocho gas a vegan version of them.

Ummmm……how good does this sound?! I get so excited when I discover vegan friendly versions of sweet treats I use to eat before becoming vegan. Mounds bars are up there when it comes to my favorite chocolate bars, so I already know I am going to love this.

Mama Chia’s Blackberry Bliss Chia Squeeze

The next snack is Mama Chia’s Blackberry Bliss Chia Squeeze. Chia seeds are actually a great vegan source of omega-3’s, & this chia squeeze is definitely a tasty way to consume them.

This is the only item in the November box that doesn’t excite me but that’s strictly a personal preference. There’s just something about squeeze packages that freak me out. Am I the only one?? But aside from that, I do love that they included a snack made with chia seeds. Omega-3’s are an essential part of any diet.

Urban Cheesecraft Nacho Sauce

Our first lifestyle item this month is actually a mix of food and an activity – we’ve brought a vegan cheese kit from Urban Cheesecraft! As U.C. puts it: “You can now make your ideal dairy-free cheese because you choose the base (nuts, seeds, veggies or white beans) and you can give it your owns spin with chives, red pepper flakes or whatever your heart desires.” There’s a lot of room for creativity here, if you have any questions about the process just refer to the packaging or their website – have fun with it!

Now THIS item makes me very excited! Cheese is one of the few things I crave and the odd time I will indulge and eat some, but I always regret it the next day. It just doesn’t agree with my body. So……I am extremely excited to test out this vegan Nacho Sauce. The instructions are easy to follow and I have a feeling the end result will be very good.

Wet-It Dish Cloth

Our second lifestyle item is a Swedish dish cloth by Wet-It! While the blend of cotton and cellulose is common in Sweden, it isn’t as standard in the US. This blend can absorb 15x its weight, is biodegradable, and is reusable/dishwasher safe.

Whole Love Organics Deodorant

Our bath and body item this month is a vegan & CF natural deodorant from Whole Love Organics! This deodorant smells pleasantly of lavender and we have found it to last all day!

This month’s bath & body item just might be my favorite thus far. You all know how much I love testing out different brands when it comes to natural deodorant. It’s hard to find the right one so I really like to try before I buy. This one smells lovely and I like that they say it lasts all day. In the past I’ve found a couple brands I love but it needed to be applied a couple of times throughout the day. Excited to test this one out.

Coffee Mug

Our activism item for this month is a clear one – “Not Your Mom, Not Your Milk” mug to drink anywhere!

Oh my goodness!! This mug couldn’t be more perfect for me. I am constantly telling my husband, family and anyone else who will listen that cow’s milk is meant for baby cows and not for humans. I am going to LOVE drinking my coffee out of this every morning.

All Around Vegan Review November 2018 – Final Thoughts

The November All Around Vegan isn’t as exciting as some of their past boxes, but I’m still very happy with it. I think the lack of excitement comes from the fact that it contains mostly food items this month when compared to previous boxes. But, with that being said, I am beyond excited to try the vegan cheese mix and I am absolutely in love with my new coffee mug. I discovered some new vegan brands this month and that makes me very happy. As far as vegan boxes go……this is still a favorite.

XOXO
