Here’s a peek at the items in my September box…..

Emmy’s Organic Coconut Cookies

This month we’ve brought snacks from a few of our favourite vegan food companies. The first of which is Emmy’s Organics Peanut Butter Coconut Cookies. These cookies are not only vegan, but also gluten-free and organic. The rich peanut butter mixed with the sweet coconut has left us craving more than one bag.

I am very familiar with our first snack. I often grab a bag of Emmy’s Coconut Cookies from Starbucks. They are a really great little snack to enjoy with your coffee……just sayin’.

Bounce Protein Ball

Secondly we’ve brought a protein energy ball from Bounce’s new plant-based snack line! Made with almonds and kale, these bites are both yummy and convenient.

This is another snack I am very familiar with and another one I will often grab from the store. Bounce Protein Balls are a great snack to keep in your purse or gym bag. They are the perfect size when you need just a little something to tide you over until lunch or dinner.

Vegan Rob’s Brussel Sprout Puffs

Next we have Vegan Rob’s Brussel Sprout Puffs. It may sound like an odd combination, but brussel sprouts have never tasted so good.

Oh my goodness…..we are only roll! This is another snack I love and purchase often. Vegan Rob’s is one of my favourite brands when it come to chip alternatives. I love these Brussel Sprout Puffs.

Enjoy Life Caramel Granola Bars

The last food items are caramel granola bars from Enjoy Life – these bars are both vegan and allergy friendly.

Wow!! So many amazing snacks this month. I am one happy girl!

Derma-E’s Lemongrass & Vitamin E Shampoo

Our bath & body item is Derma-E’s Lemongrass & Vitamin E Restoring Shampoo. Derma-E is dedicated to creating vegan, cruelty-free, and eco-friendly personal care products. This lemongrass shampoo is fortified with gentle botanicals to help strengthen, moisturize and add shine to your hair.

I love that we received a shampoo for our bath & body item this month, I just wish we would have received the conditioner to go with it. I love the brand and absolutely love the scent but I feel the need to go out and purchase the matching conditioner or else I might not use the shampoo.

Plant Strong by Rip Esselstyn

For our lifestyle item this month we’ve brought Plant-Strong, a New York Times #1 Bestseller written by Rip Esselstyn. Rip is the son of Cadwell Esselstyn, who successfully reversed heart-disease with a whole-foods plant based diet. In this book, Rip goes over 35 misconceptions you may come up against when telling others about a vegan or WFPB diet, and as a bonus there are 150 WFPB recipes at the end of the book! It serves as both a great educational tool and recipe book; there are so many ways to eat vegan, the recipes in this book are focused on the healthiest version.

I am beyond excited to read this book! It would have come in handy a few years back when I was still getting use to being vegan. I made the switch at a time when very few people knew what vegan was. It was a new concept and I received a lot of funny looks and not so nice comments. This book covers all the misconceptions and arms me with all the info I need to answer the questions people ask me on a daily basis. This is a “must read” for any vegan.

Vegan Emblem by Visibly Veg

Our activism item for this month is a Vegan Emblem from our friends at Visibly Veg! Just follow the instructions on the back of the emblem and place on your car, laptop, etc. Looks very official and gets the message across.

Lastly we have our activism item and I am loving it. It’s simple and classy. I love the look of it and will definitely be finding a spot to put it on display.

All Around Vegan Review September 2018 – Final Thoughts

Are you all enjoying this box as much as I am? I love it for the simple fact that it provides me with a variety of vegan goodies each month. I always discover a new brand, an informative book or learn something new. The only thing that would have made this month’s box better is if we would have received conditioner to go with the shampoo. Other than that I am loving everything. I already started reading the book and the snacks are packed up in my travel bag for our next road trip. If you are vegan, or considering a vegan lifestyle then this is the box for you.

XOXO
