I noticed some changes with this month’s Amoda Tea box, the packaging is slightly different, and the product card is slightly different. I like changes, especially when they look so pretty, I like a pretty subscription box, I like anything that is pretty……just sayin’.
Tsui Yu Jade – This month’s Amoda Tea Box features two premium Alishan high mountain oolong teas from Terroir Tea Merchant and this is one of them. I’m not even sure if I have ever had oolong tea. The product card says that if I like jasmine tea then I will love this one….and it just so happens that I love jasmine tea….lucky me!
Alisha Eco Red – This is the second of the two oolong teas and it is supposed to have flavours of cinnamon and caramel. I was just eating cinnamon hearts last night and was thinking how much I love the flavour of cinnamon…..I have a feeling this one is going to be good.
Cherry Coconut – Ummm….I don’t even know if there are words to describe how excited I am about this one. Cherry coconut sounds like a pretty amazing flavour combination. The product card says that this is the kind of flavoured tea they hunt for…..I would hunt for it too……but since it’s in my box I don’t have to…….which is good……because I don’t know how to hunt….
Honeybush Haze – This is referred to as a dessert tea, so I already know I am going to like it. They say it’s kinda like apple, raisin, and hazelnut crumble…….and they also say it helps relieve tension and irritability…..I need to make this ASAP!
Thoughts: If you read my blog on a regular basis then you know this past week has been the week from hell….I got very sick last weekend and am on antibiotics as a result, antibiotics make me cray cray, it’s also that “special time” (too much information), I have some big decisions to make in my personal life, and I fell down the stairs which resulted in a bruise the size of a small child on my thigh. So…….the sight of this little box was like a little glimpse of heaven. It’s just so pretty and organized that it satisfies my OCD side, and the contents give me a reason to slow down and take a breath. I have a couple more things to finish up this evening, and then I am going to make myself a cup of Honeybush Haze, put on the coziest pjs I have, and watch me some Catfish…..is it sad that the idea of doing this makes me more excited than a new Kate Spade purse???
I LOVE this box!! Thank you Amoda Tea for making my day so much better!!
XOXO
