Canvas Bag: The product card mentions a canvas bag…..it’s actually super cute. It says “Introverted……but willing to discuss books and true crime.” However, I didn’t see one in my box so maybe it was only for certain subscribers?
Trophy Wife Candle: Trophy Wife has notes of intoxicating vanilla, sandalwood and amber. Our candles are always hand stirred and poured in the Authentic Books studio using non-toxic ingredients.
Tea: For the “taste” category subscribers can receive coffee, tea or a cocktail mix. I would be happy with any of them and this month I received a lovely Chamomile Lavender tea from Chai Diaries.
Linen Spray: Ice Queen has notes of sophisticated red currant and juniper. Our new linen sprays are great to spray your favourite reading chair. Every bottle is hand-poured and packaged with care.
Bath Bomb: An infusion of red raspberry and rum, topped with a garnish of fresh mint and lime. Lather in the intoxicating brilliance of Ruby, our raspberry and wild mint-scented, plant-based, luxuriously foaming bath bomb. Garnished with gomphrena buds.
Rainier Cherry Truffle Bar: Fresh dried cherries and praline pecans in dark chocolate, featuring 100% Rainforest Alliance Certified cocoa. A Northwest favourite.
Authentic Books Review July 2022 – Final Thoughts
It has been a few months since my last Authentic Books review and I almost forgot how much I love this box. They do such a wonderful job and I really love the concept – quality goodies from small US-based artisans and boutiques that focus on each of our five senses (sight, smell, taste, sound, touch). We have the book for sight, the candle for smell, the tea and chocolate bar for taste, the linen spray and bath bomb for touch, and a Spotify playlist at the back of the product booklet for sound. They really do have all the details covered and provide such an amazing unboxing experience. Authentic Books is one of my favourite book subscriptions.
