Basic MAN is a monthly subscription service that will deliver 3 essential pieces of your daily life to your doorstep. Every month, they will send you a t-shirt, boxer briefs and socks. It’s time to say goodbye to those saggy tee’s, stained underwear and socks with holes in them. They kindly sent us this package for review.
I rave about Basic MAN month after month because it’s a favourite in our house. It’s one of the only subscriptions I get for my husband and one of the only subscriptions he has actually expressed interest in. And……after month’s of me dropping hints that I would love to see an option for us ladies, it’s finally here!! Stay tuned for that review.
Subscription Details
Basic MAN subscriptions are pretty straight forward. They make it easy, all you gotta do is pick your sizes and a monthly plan. Then just sit back and pop a cold one.
- Select Your Size – Pick your sizes. Exchanges are always free.
- Pick A Plan – Choose from a monthly or a pre-paid plan.
- Check Your Mail – Sit back and relax. Your package is on its way.
Here’s a peek at the Basic MAN items we received for October…..
High Quality T-Shirt
Are you the guy who wears an undershirt below your clothes? Or are you the guy who wears a tee as a fashion statement? Basic MAN shirts are for the both of you.
Our shirts are a hybrid between undershirts and your everyday tee. We use a heavier blended cotton fabric making them extremely soft while minimizing shrinkage and bunching. Subtle details give them a premium feel so you can wear them on their own.
Basic MAN t-shirts are pretty great. I speak from experience when I say they wash well and they wear well. My husband sports his Basic MAN tees quite often, and while they are a little short for his 6’7 frame, they are still wearable. I love that we received a classic back tee this month. Perfect for any wardrobe as black tees are a must, and perfect for the month of October.
Modal Boxer-Briefs
Typical boxer-briefs are made from cotton or polyester. These fabrics attract bacteria, don’t absorb sweat well, and smell. Instead, we use Modal, which is a sustainable fabric made from beechwood trees. It’s 50% more absorbent than cotton, breathable and odor resistant…but more importantly it’s ridiculously soft and comfortable. Ever heard of Modal fabric? Probably not, but trust us, this stuff is amazing!
Basic MAN briefs are just as great, if not better, than Basic MAN tees. I’ve almost done a way with all the other briefs in my husbands drawer because these are just so darn good. Just like the tees they wash well and wear well. I’m also pretty darn happy with the army green color we received this month. One of my favourites to date.
Multi-Purpose Socks
Do you ride around on those hover board things all day? Well, that’s weird. For the rest of us, our feet take a beating on a daily basis. Our socks aren’t just your regular dress socks. They are meant for everyday wear and tear. We use premium cotton and bamboo for optimal comfort. Wear them with a suit, or casually with a pair chucks.
Basic MAN nailed it this month with the sock selection. I’m yet to see a pair like this in any of our deliveries and I can definitely say they are the best socks yet. I love the ribbed detail and the fact that they are all black with just a bit of color. They are perfect!
Basic MAN Review October 2020 – Final Thoughts
The October Basic MAN collection is my favorite to date! Not only did they embrace the holiday for October and provide us with Halloween worthy pieces, but they also introduced a new style of socks which I am loving. I would like a pair, or two, or three, like this for myself. Counting the days until my Basic Woman delivery arrives, even more so now that I have seen just how good the October men’s collection is!
