Basic Woman Review November 2020

These are premium, affordable, environmentally friendly, and basically desirable undergarments for versatile use! They kindly sent us this box for review.
Basic Woman is a brand new subscription box from the same company that does Basic MAN. I got to review it for the first time last month and I was pretty darn excited because I have been waiting for Basic MAN to come out with an option for us ladies. I love the idea of receiving the basics each month – top, undies and socks. One less trip to the mall for this girl!

Here’s a closer look at the November Basic Woman collection……
Top
Our tops vary each month between cute crew neck t-shirts, cami’s and crop tops (not too short) for everyday wear. They are a stretchy bamboo fabric that’s super soft and high-quality. We’ve designed them to fit every body type.
Unlike Basic MAN, Basic Woman has a few different top styles of which subscribers will receive. Last month we received a black crop and this month we have a grey tank. I’m a huge fan of the tanks as they are perfect for layering, and for lounging. I would love it if the straps were adjustable but other than that I am very happy with the fit.
Underwear
Say goodbye to underwear lines with our laser-cut, seamless spandex panties. They are a bikini style with a little extra butt coverage. You can expect mostly darker colors along with nude and some other earthy tones.
Ok….I have to be honest. I like the Basic Woman undies but they aren’t necessarily a style I would go out and purchase for myself. I like the fabric, and I like the extra coverage but I wish the waistband was seamless…..are maybe even lace. It has a small band at the top where the material is folded over and it cuts in slightly.
Socks
Sustainable, bamboo socks women’s (US) size 5-10.
Loving this month’s socks! And just like last month I’m tempted to say they are my favorite of the three items. I like the grey and beige together and the fit is perfect.
Basic Woman Review November 2020 – Final Thoughts
Basic Woman is such a great concept and I’m very happy to see something like this on the market. I dislike shopping for undies and socks so having them delivered to my door is a no-brainer. I also really love that we receive a new top each month, they are basic and simple and perfect for a number of things – working out, lounging, and layering. I would maybe like to see a different panty option in the future, but until then I am quite happy with what they are offering.
