Birchbox Review November 2024
Getting my Birchbox is so interesting because, with their new format where subscribers completely customize every single box, I already know what’s inside! It’s a different kind of anticipation from receiving other beauty boxes – but it is still exciting because some of them are picks I’m pretty psyched about trying.
They kindly sent this box for review.

Then, you’ll be presented with options from categories like skincare, haircare, makeup, and body where you can choose the products and sizes you want, or let Birchbox build a box that’s tailored just for you, based on your preferences.

Unboxing the November 2024 Birchbox
Since Birchbox is fully customizable now, you’ll have the option to choose every item in your box. So, if you got a Birchbox this month, you might have received different items than I did. I’d love to hear what you chose in the comments below! Here’s a closer look at the items I picked for my box:
Manna Kadar Bronzer & Blush: These are both powder finishes even though I thought the bronzer might have been a cream from first glance. The blush has a lovely champagne shimmer which I really love. The bronzer is actually a 3 in 1 that can be used on the brow, eye, or cheek. I’m not sure if it’s the right shade for me, but I do like the blush.
Arrow Detangling Texture & Protect Spray (1 oz): I was happy to see this as an option when customizing my Birchbox this month. I love trying new detangler and heat protectant products, so this was right up my alley. This one sprays a solid cream consistency, which surprised me at first, but then I appreciated because it felt like it was really melting into my hair. Bonus points that it smells absolutely delicious and leaves my hair smelling extra fresh. I would buy this again.
Brow Gel & Serum: A 2-in-1 tinted gel and brow enhancing serum. I’d never heard of this brand before, but that’s part of the reason I love beauty boxes – so I can try new ones! This gel/serum combo worked beautifully, and I really liked the smaller applicator. I feel like many of the brow gels I’ve used in the past have an abnormally large wand, which makes it easy to get gel on my skin. I liked this one and I thought the packaging was pretty too. The shade was a perfect match, so I was pleased with that as well.
Bumble and Bumble Sumotech: I like Bumble and Bumble as a brand so I thought why not try something new! This is a flexible lo-shine cream to solid hair cream, ideal for short hair or holding long hair back in place. It’s part wax, part cream, and it leaves a flexible yet strong hold. I didn’t notice much of a fragrance, but I do love that it’s cruelty free. This is one of those items where a little will go a long way so even though this is a sample jar, I feel like I’ll be using this for a long time!
Juara Body Creme: Yes to this little gem! Who doesn’t need a little extra love for dry hands this time of year? This one smells like jasmine and the beach. It leaves an ultra soft finish – I’m serious – my hands were absolutely silk after I used it. This might be one lotion that I’ll need to buy the full size version! If my hands can be this soft, I want to use it everywhere.
Bellapierre Eyeshadow: In a shimmery champagne color, I actually really like this one! I’m not a big fan of a ton of sparkles in my make up, but I think this would be a fun addition for the holiday season. We’re dressing up a little more and this just takes a regular eye look up a notch. I think you could also use it as a highlighter it’s so light.
November 2024 Birchbox Final Thoughts
I was pleased with the selection of products this month and felt like I’d get use out of almost all of them! I like that they included some options that I might not have sought out on my own, but that I can experiment with without having to commit to buying a full sized version on my own.
I feel like Birchbox adds a lot of value by allowing subscribers to select their own options – that level of customization just can’t be beat in the beauty box space, so I really appreciate having that kind of involvement in the items I’m receiving.
I haven’t seen a lot of duplicate products listed in the customizations survey either which makes it even more fun to see what’s available each month! I’m looking forward to seeing what’s available next month too.
If you want to give Birchbox a try to see if it’s a good fit for you, I’ve got a $10 off coupon code you can use to try it for even greater savings. Use code YEAROFBOXES at checkout here.
