I’m trying to remember what I did before Bombay & Cedar came along. Where did I get my essential oils and where did I discover new aromatherapy products? I also think about what I would do if I didn’t receive Bombay & Cedar each month and the thought only lasts a minute because I quickly realize I never want that to happen. I want Bombay & Cedar in my life indefinitely!

Here’s a closer look at the items we received in the March box…….

Breath Easy Essential Oil ($17)

A proprietary blend of oils designed to increase lung capacity to breathe and clear sinuses. An excellent addition for any health conscious individual.

This couldn’t have arrived at a better time. My sinuses haven’t been the best lately and I could definitely benefit from an oil such as this.

Spring Bliss Essential Oil ($17)

An absolutely delectable aromatic treasure seamlessly blending a variety of citrus notes topped with a hint of vanilla, resulting in a fabulous blend.

Eeeek!!! I have been waiting for an essential oil made with vanilla. I like the idea of diffusing oils with beneficial properties but I also want to diffuse a yummy smelling oil from time to time. Something that will make my house smell amazing. And that’s exactly what this oil is going to do!

Himalayan Pink or Himalayan Gold Popcorn ($1.09)

A popcorn snack with organic, Non-GMO ingredients and a serving of whole grains for a more balanced diet.

Every month we receive a snack and every month I tell you how happy it makes me. Last month we received a sweet snack and this month we received a salty snack. I love that each month is different yet the same. I know I am going to receive some sort of treat to munch on while I write the review……and popcorn just happens to be a fave.

Write Now Journal ($6.95)

The Write Now Journal line features beautiful design, modern typography, bold sentiments, striking artwork, and periodic typist quotations – with plenty of lined pages to capture the day’s thoughts, musing and prose in four variations.

I use a notebook everyday. The first thing I do every morning is make my coffee, sit at my desk and write out my to-do list for the day. So…..I am actually quite excited that this month we received a notebook as opposed to a book. Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely LOVE the books we have received in previous boxes, but I also really love a cute notebook…..and this one is C.U.T.E.

Rosehip and Hibiscus Anti-Stress Night Cream ($112)

A delicate soothing night cream that will nourish & revitalize parched & sun-damaged skin while you sleep, using a unique vitamin-rich balance of rosehip and hibiscus.

This next item is pretty amazing. Not only is it more than double the cost of the box itself, it’s also a really amazing product from a great brand. It’s made with aloe, coconut oil, Vitamin E and rosehip oil…..just to name a few. I love the ingredient list and love that it works while you sleep.

Pluggable Fragrance Warmer ($10)

Simply add wax melts to the dish, turn it on, and enjoy your favourite fragrance as it spreads through the room.

I use to have a warmer just like this but I broke it when we moved in to our new house. I would use it on a regular basis and have missed not having one. These little warmers are a great way to keep your home free of unwanted scents. I use to turn it on after dinner.

Wax Melts ($3)

Wax Melts from Candle Warmers are 100% paraffin wax that holds more fragrance and last longer compared to scented gels, oils, or sprays.

Lip Buffer ($13)

For lips that suffer from severe dehydration, it’s hard to find a balm or treatment that will actually rid you of the dry, cracked skin that can develop. Apply to wet lips, massage well, rinse off with warm water.

Oh…..I love a good lip scrub/buffer. Soft lips are a must so I appreciate this particular product. It’s always nice to receive toiletry essentials….and this is an essential.

Herb Kit ($6.95)

An artfully curated seed kit that grows herbs. Start by sprouting seeds indoors, then transplant the biodegradable coco pot outside, directly into a garden or patio container.

This is just the cutest little herb pot ever!! I recently purchased herb seeds and am attempting to grow myself a few little pots of herbs that I will keep in the kitchen and use as necessary. This will be the perfect addition. As of right now I have oregano, sage and regular basil. I’m really interested to see what cinnamon basil is like in comparison.

Thank You Gift

If you shared your box on social media last month you have also received a special gift as a thank you for spreading the word about our box.

This month’s thank you gift is a teeth whitening pen. I’ve never used a pen before. I have used kits and charcoal, but never a pen. This little pen uses the natural power of Bicarbonate Soda & Cranberry to safely whiten your teeth 5+ shade in 7 days without damaging the enamel.

Bombay & Cedar Review March 2018 – Final Thoughts

This month’s Bombay & Cedar has a retail value of $186.99, which is absolutely amazing considering the fact that the box itself only costs $49.95. I have been reviewing this box since August and I have been impressed with the curation and attention to detail every single month. I have received some amazing products and discovered some wonderful brands. I have raved about Bombay & Cedar since my first review and will continue to do so every month from here on out. I am THAT confident when it comes to this subscription. I know that I am going to love everything they send me and that it will forever be a favourite.

XOXO
