Bowzer Box Review October 2019

Bowzer Box is a Canadian subscription box for dogs. Each box contains a variety of high quality toys, treats, and other goodies for your dog with a focus on including products from Canadian companies. Bowzer Box customizes each box to your dog’s characteristics, such as size. Every box comes beautifully packaged with all the goodies protected with cute Bowzer Box wrapping paper.

Each Bowzer Box costs $33 (or $29 per box with a 12 month subscription), and ships anywhere in Canada for $6 per box. The October box included 2 toys, 3 bags of treats, a chew, and even a cookie! This box was kindly sent to us for review.

Here is a closer look at each of the items we received:

Yappetizers Herring Treats

Every month, Bowzer Box includes a variety of healthy treats made in either Canada or the USA. The first treats this month were Herring treats from Yappetizers, a company located right here in Richmond, BC. I love that the treat was made entirely of herring with no additives.

Caledon Farms Sweet Potato Chews

Next we received a bag of Sweet Potato Chews from Caledon Farms. I’m happy to see another bag of single ingredient treats with no additives, and these were an instant hit with Toby.

Full Life for Pets Omega Chews

The last bag of treats we received this month was the Omega Chews from Full Life for Pets in the Salmon recipe. This is a really good size bag and a great healthy alternative.

Jakers Treats Beef Rib Bone

Next treat we received was a large beef rib bone from Jakers Treats, another Canadian company. This is a good size and will keep Toby occupied while helping to keep his teeth clean.

Gourmet Dog Cookie

The last treat we received was a cookie. This is such a fun treat, and the pumpkin spice design is so perfect for the season!

Space Ball Fetchables Fetch Toy

The first toy this month is a rubber fetch toy from Space Ball. We can’t wait to take this with us on our next trip to the dog park to have some fun.

Go Dog Zombiez Toy

The last item is a super cute zombie toy from Go Dog. This has a squeaker in the head and crinkle in the stuffing free body. It is very well made and arrived just in time for Halloween. Toby quickly warmed up to his new friend.

Bowzer Box Review October 2019 – Final Thoughts

This is our first Bowzer Box, and we are really loving it. I appreciate the great variety of treats sourced from local companies. Toby loved all he sampled so far, with the sweet potato treats being his favourite. The toys included were really well made and good quality. I’m always happy to support a Canadian subscription box, and definitely recommend Bowzer Box as a monthly treat for your furry friends.
