Breo Box Review Summer 2017
Breo Box is a seasonal subscription service for both men & women, delivering high-end and boutique brand name products. Every 3 months, you’ll receive a custom made hand-packed wooden box with items that revolve around everyday essentials, fitness/health, and tech, curated to fit the season. They kindly sent us this box for review.
I fell in love with Breo Box the moment I discovered it. The subscription box market needed a box like this. It’s high-end, is great for guys and girls, has a really awesome mixture of products, and the value is amazing. If you have room in your sub box budget I highly recommend giving this one a try.

Fujifilm Instax Mini 70 Camera ($139)
Fujifilm’s Instax Mini 70 instant camera brings selfies to your photoshoot with the self-portrait mirror. Capture moments with friends and family, or on your wild adventures, instantly! Want to practice your photography skills? Use the hi-key mode when shooting skin tones, or take advantage of the macro and landscape modes to take your photos to the next level. There’s a self-timer option for times you want to sneak in and be part of the group shot. The tripod socket lets you mount the camera and keep it stable for these special images. The Instax Mini 70 is available in funky new Canary Yellow, Island blue and Moon White.
Wow, what an amazing item for a lifestyle box! We are off to a good start. And……this camera is way cooler than I thought it was. I had no clue that it had so many awesome features – selfie button, self-timer, macro and landscape mode. This is so exciting. I love taking photos and absolutely love that I will be able to print the photos the instant I take them.
Fujifilm Instax Mini Color Film ($15)
FUJIFILM INSTANT COLOR FILM is an ISO 800 wide picture format integral daylight color film designed for use with Fujifilm instax mini series cameras. This glossy film yields superb results under both daylight and electronic flash conditions. Its improved picture quality and greater ease of use make it ideal for snapshots and portraits. Furthermore, its easy-to-file size makes it an excellent choice for documentary or archival purposes, as well as a wide variety of other applications.
This is genius. Breo Box gets huge bonus point for sending us a 2-pack of film so we can start taking photos right away.
Roll-Up Chess/Checkers Set by Sondergut ($30)
Take the game with you! The Sondergut leather board rolls up to the size of a pocket umbrella (10 x 2). Great for travel or the home! Whether relaxing on the beach, or in an airplane, or at the hotel lounge, you can play chess almost anywhere — and with style. Or, flip the pieces over and play a game of checkers.
How fun is this item! I’ve been wanting to create a game cupboard for when my nieces and nephew come over and this will be the perfect addition. You can use the game pieces to play chess or checkers. I can also see myself taking this on our trip in December. Perfect for traveling!
The Findables Company XY3 ($25)

- Put the XY3 on your keys, backpack, purse, or more. You can also ring your phone with the XY3 button!
- Download our XY Find It app from either the App Store or Play Store onto your smart device. Attach your XY3 finder to the desired item, and follow the instructions to pair your device with your smart device or smart phone.
- On the main view of either the XY Find It App or my.xyfindit.com web application, you can tap on one of your listed XY3 items and the map will navigate to it’s location. Tap on any finder to open up the settings including “KeepNear™” which will allow you to set up out of range alerts as well as “Find It” which will ring your XY3 beacon if it is in Bluetooth range.
I love discovering new gadgets!! This is a genius idea for anyone who loses things on a regular basis. Luckily I’m pretty good in that department and rarely misplace my things. But……I know someone who would absolutely love this. I might hold on to it and use it as a Christmas gift.
S’well Stainless Steel Water Bottle ($35)
I thought the camera was a good idea, but this is an even better idea!! I have only ever received a S’well bottle in one other subscription and that was more than two years ago. I really think subscription boxes need to include items like this more often. Everyone needs a S’well water bottle in their life. I carry two with me at all times. This one will be going to the BF. He takes one in his truck with him and until now he’s had to use one of mine which means he’s drinking out of a hot pink water bottle most of the time…..or one with hearts on it. He is going to be very happy to have his own bottle; one that’s a bit more on the masculine side.
HyperChiller ($30)
Don’t settle for watered down iced coffee or wait all day for a cold brew recipe. Turn hot coffee into perfect iced coffee in as quickly as one minute!

What a great idea for a Summer box!! Now I can make iced coffee at home. Until now I’ve only had iced coffee as a treat when I’m out running errands and need a little pick-me-up. Now I will be able to make it anytime I want. You can brew directly into the chiller straight from your Keurig. There’s two ice chambers inside that will chill your coffee quickly. I can’t wait to give this try.
Swissmar Cheese Cleaver from Sur La Table ($15) & 100/American Walnut Host Board ($45)
This is a really great set for entertaining. I have a board similar to this and I use it all the time for appies, bread, fruit, cheese…..you name it. I like the look of an appie board on the table during dinner.
Breo Box Review Summer 2017 – Final Thoughts
Breo Box did it again. They put together a really great box. The value is amazing and the product mix is spot on. I love that we have one stand-out item this season. The camera was a really great idea and I guarantee their subscribers loved it. I think what I like most about Breo Box is the fact that they curate a box full of quality items, and that it’s a mixture of products I never would have picked out for myself but appreciate receiving. I can/will use all of these items and discovered some fun new products. I’m really excited to see what they have in store for the Fall box. Fall subscription boxes are my absolute favourite, and if there’s a time to subscribe to any subscription it would be September-December. Hopefully we’ll get our hands on a spoiler soon………
