Breo Box Review Summer 2019
Breo Box is a seasonal subscription service for both men & women, delivering high-end and boutique brand name products. Every 3 months, you’ll receive a custom made hand-packed wooden box with items that revolve around everyday essentials, fitness/health, and tech, curated to fit the season. They kindly sent us this box for review.
Breo Box is a lifestyle subscription that is perfect for both men and women. They focus on quality tech products (among other things) and I always end up discovering something new. My favorite boxes are the ones that include lifestyle and fitness related products, and over the last couple years I have used my Breo Box products for Christmas gifts as I always end up receiving something that I think would be perfect for my Dad or Brother.

- Seasonal – $159 each season
- Annual – $549 for the year, receive a new box each season

Here’s a closer look at the items we received in the Summer Breo Box…..
Ekho DV8000 1080P Action Camera ($115)
This was one of the spoilers I saw for the Summer Breo Box and I was quite excited about it. I think this is an amazing product for a lifestyle/tech box. Unfortunately I couldn’t find any information on it and it is a little out of my comfort zone (I’ve never use an action camera before) so I can’t really speak to the quality, specifics, etc…
Dodow Sleep Aid Device ($59.80)
Dodow is a metronome with a light system that teaches you how to fall asleep naturally, without taking any medicine. With Dodow, someone who normally takes 60 minutes to fall asleep will take no more than 25 – and will gain around hundred more hours of sleep per year.
This is a really unique product and will be perfect for my Dad. Here’s how it works:
Tap the touch-sensitive surface once for the 8- minute mode, twice for the 20-minute mode. A blue light appears on the ceiling. Gently synchronise your breathing: Inhale when the light expands…
…then exhale when the light retracts. You may notice that the exhalation is deliberately longer. This will help create a sensation of tiredness which is conductive to falling asleep.
At the end of the exercise (8 or 20 minutes) Dodow switches itself off. You’ll be in the ideal body state to fall asleep naturally, in whatever position you like.
OXO Good Grips Cold Brew Coffee Maker ($49.99)

I’m making an effort to cut caffeine from my diet so I was happy to see that this can also be used for tea. I was just speaking with my sister yesterday about iced tea and was even thinking about going out and getting a cold tea jug from David’s Tea. This cold brew maker will be perfect for making my tea over the hot Summer months.

I’m very impressed by this shaker bottle. I’ve received a few over the years and the look and feel of this one is by far the best I’ve seen. I like that it is insulated and will keep drinks cold for 24 hours.
THAT! Li’l Dipper Thermal Ice Cream Scoop ($14.95)
Just the right size for a little late night indulgence. The spoon’s magnetic handle keeps it in reach on the refrigerator door. Made from food-grade, durable aluminum alloy, the spoon won’t flex, bend, or twist out of shape as you dig into your favorite treat. The handle is also designed so the spoon head is elevated at rest.
I don’t eat ice cream but I can appreciated the convenience of this little scoop. The magnetic handle allows the spoon to attach to the refrigerator or any metallic surface. The handle design elevates spoon head at rest and the strong forged material won’t break, bend, or twist out of shape when scooping frozen solid treats. Lastly, the silicon thumb rest design gives you an extra oomph when scooping.
Breo Box Review Summer 2019 – Final Thoughts
I’m not totally blown away by the Summer Breo Box but I certainly appreciate the curation of products and of course the value. The action camera was a great addition to the box, I just need to do a little more research on it before I get too excited. The brew maker will be perfect for my iced tea and the sleep aid will make a great gift for my Dad. As per usual I have discovered a few new products, which is something I’ve come to appreciate about my Breo Box deliveries.
