March Box Details
The March BuddhiBox theme is: “Purity” and comes with a great quote to inspire that theme:
“The spiritual journey is one of continuous learning and purification. When you know this you become humble.” ~Soygal Rinpoche
Purity reminds me of the first spring flowers and their peaceful gentle entrance into the world. They are so beautiful and calming to look at, aren’t they? The goods in this month’s BuddhiBox inspire that feeling of a peaceful spring refresh after emerging from the cold winter.
Here’s a look at what was in this month’s BuddhiBox:
Zen and Meow Flower of Life Etched Palo Santo ($7)
“Preparing and cleansing your space is an important part of a yogic lifestyle. There are many ways, one is to use aroma. Light the fragrant cleanser, blow out the flame, then waft the smoke in a circular motion over an area or items to clear energies. Place in a bowl with sand or on a shell and be careful to fully extinguish.”
There’s nothing better than a little palo santo to clear the air and rid it of stagnant vibes (like the dreary winter). It of course is useful year round, but especially great during the changing of the season to bring in the new energies it carries. This palo santo of course smells amazing, but is also so pretty with the etched design. I almost don’t want to use it, but I’ve got to – it’s so needed!
Gogh Jewelry Design Lotus Charm Necklace ($29)
“Lotus is a symbol for awakening to the spiritual reality of life. Its symbolism is a perfect analogy for the human condition: even when its roots are in the dirtiest waters, the Lotus produces the most beautiful flower.”
What a pretty necklace! And I love the symbolism of the lotus. I’ve often connected with it’s meaning during life’s challenges so it’s a perfect reminder to wear and think of the ability to overcome. I love the green color of the bead, it’s a very calming color and is still neutral enough to wear with nearly everything. It’s a subtle necklace good for everyday wear. I’m glad to add this one to my jewelry collection.
Scentuals Purity Essential Oil Blend ($12)
“Use this all natural oil to scent the air or cleanse your altar. Add a drop to some purified water and spritz lightly.”
I love essential oil blends and this one sounds amazingly crisp, bright, soothing and refreshing. It’s made with eucalyptus, rosemary, tea tree, peppermint, lemon, ginger and pine needle oils – what a unique blend?! This would be great in the diffuser for purifying the home and cleansing the air of anything stale hanging around. I’ll be using this one a lot until we can open the windows and get some fresh air, and then I’ll probably still keep use it after that too!
Rael Feminine Wipes ($4)
“These natural wipes are perfect for travel, your yoga bag, or tucked away at your desk for whenever you want to hit the “refresh” button on your sacred flower. Made with soothing aloe vera extracts, protective camellia sinensis leaf, and grapefruit extracts, no chemicals.”
Ok, I love these wipes already so I was excited to find a pack in this month’s BuddhiBox. I used these during the postpartum period SO much and they were SO helpful. I was grateful to have them is an understatement. They aren’t just useful for that time though, I liked them so much I continue to use them when needing a refresh. They are lightweight, yet a sturdy material and are made with ingredients to keep everything pH balanced. They are soothing to the skin and senses too. They say they are flushable and it’s hard to find a wipe that is so that’s a bonus. These are great for bringing in your bag or for travel but are just as useful at home.
Selenite Wand ($18)
“Selenite is a crystal that is said removes the veil between the seen and unseen. Use this massage wand to energetically and physically work on blocked energy to purify your body and beingness.”
Selenite is such a beautiful stone and I love it’s healing properties. The ability to help purify perfectly fits this month’s theme. As seasons change it’s good to look inwardly and check what might have gotten stagnant in the mental realm while you’re spring cleaning your physical realm too. Having this tool to help undo any tangled energies will help move you into the next season with a clear head.
BuddhiBox Review March 2020 – Final Thoughts
I always really like the themes that BuddhiBox has and how the items tie into it so nicely. This theme is especially timely and feels very springy. Not only do the items connect and work together but, they all look so nice together too with their coordinating and soothing green tones and nature vibes. I mean, the necklace and essential oil blend are like meant to be together alongside the wipes too. I love a good visual coordination just as much as I love a good theme. Can’t wait to see what next month brings in both departments!
