Canuck Crate Review April 2022

Canuck Crate Subscription Boxes are a fun way to discover Canadian-made snacks and goodies from all over the country. They kindly sent us this box for review.

Don’t you just love snacks?! I sure do! I could review snack boxes all day, every day and be a happy girl. I especially love Canuck Crate snack boxes because they feature Canadian brands and they always have the best themes. Take the April box for example, the theme is Sunday Brunch!

Here’s a closer look at the April Canuck Crate…..

Note from the Owners: “We had a lot of fun creating a really diverse brunch for all of our subscribers! Brunch is kind of a mash up of everything, with something for everyone – sweet, salty, breakfasty, seafoody, lunchy, and boozy – we had it allll.”

Included in the large April Canuck Crate…..

@pandoughrasbox Strawberry Poptart Cookie: Ummmm…..how good does this look?! A stuffed cookie topped with pink icing…..it was SO hard to hold myself back from eating this the moment I pulled it out of the box.

@lannieraegourmet Pancake Mix: Here we have a Strawberry Cream pancake & waffle mix. I really, really need to get a waffle maker…..waffles just seem so much more fun than pancakes. Each box contains enough for 2 batches of pancakes and you simply mix with buttermilk, 1 large egg and melted butter.

@nudfud Cheezy Crackers: I have a small obsession with crackers and LOVE trying new brands. This is a cheese flavoured sweet potato cracker that is plant-based and gluten-free.

@ganongbros Pal-o-Mine Bar: I don’t think I have ever seen this brand before….so that’s super fun. It is a Fudge & Peanut Chocolate bar and it sounds amazing.

@vitalitysnax Macaroons: These yummy little macaroons are so much more than meets the eye. They are actually energy balls, they contain 18g of protein, they are vegan and gluten-free.

@scoutcanning PEI Mussels: This is the only item in the box I won’t test out but I think it’s pretty perfect for a Sunday Brunch themed box.

@ladeedagourmetsauces Blueberry Gin Fizz Jam: This blueberry jam sounds so fun and totally intrigues me. It is actually made with Gin, which just happens to be a fave.

@propellercoffeeco Cold Brew: And lastly…a can of cold brew coffee from Propeller Coffee Co which is actually a brand I have been meaning to try. I love the idea of cold brew coffee in a can.

Canuck Crate Review April 2022 – Final Thoughts

The April Canuck Crate has a fun theme, fun products and it was a blast to unbox. I love discovering new snack foods and I REALLY love testing them out. I can’t wait to break open the stuffed cookie, and maybe even pair it with the cold brew. The theme is very inspiring so it kind of makes me want to wait until Sunday and have myself a little brunch tasting. Either way…..I am VERY excited!
