Cate & Chloe Review August 2017

Cate & Chloe is a Jewelry Subscription Box. Each month their stylists will pick the most popular styles to send to you. Styles include earrings, bracelets, bangles, necklaces and more to keep you up to date on the latest trends. They kindly sent us this box for review.

Cate & Chloe keeps my jewelry collection up-to-date and on trend. Most of the necklaces in my collection are actually from Cate & Chloe. They have really great styles that are unique and fun. I always get compliments when I wear any of the pieces from my Cate & Chloe boxes. It’s a jewelry box that would make a really great gift for a friend, or for yourself. The price point is reasonable and they have 3 different style options to choose from.

August Theme – Summer Reminiscence

August is the time for squeezing in those last-minute summer memories before the transition of the seasons. You may be hanging out with family and friends, in these hot summer nights, eating s’mores by the beach fire pit or you will more likely find yourself sitting next to the air conditioning sharing an ice cream sundae with extra fudge sauce. Whatever path you take you are creating lasting memories. Memories that you will reminisce for all time no matter how big or small.  

Margaret Protected Statement Necklace

Margaret is simply elegant! Margaret’s classy statement style has the right amount of drama, but is subtly understated. Wear her out with a little black dress, or in jeans and a t-shirt.

I’m super excited about this particular necklace. I’ve had my eye on it for quite some time. I discovered it on their website a couple months back and fell in love with it right away. Marble stone is on-trend and just so darn pretty.

Hazel Brave Earrings

The comment from above also applies to this item. I’ve also had my eye on these earrings. What are the chances I would get two pieces of jewelry that I have been lusting after in one box. I’m pretty excited right now. I love the look of these earrings. The great part is, you can wear them as a cuff, or take the jacket off and wear the studs on their own. I am in love with these.

Gemma Gemstone Gold Bangle Bracelet

Sometimes less is truly more- the Gemma Gemstone Bracelet is a dainty bracelet with a whole lot of style! This trendy piece features a thin light gold plated band adorned with a colored gemstone. It’s simple and gorgeous! Stack with other bangles to create a boho chic look with your cocktail dress or simply add to any casual outfit for some extra glam! PS the more the merrier- the Gemma bracelet looks best in twos and threes!

I’m not as excited about this piece, but that is strictly a personal preference. It’s a gorgeous bracelet, just a little too big for my tiny wrists.

VIP Perk of the Month – Laritzy Lip Pencil

We are super excited to be partnering with Laritzy Cosmetics this month! Laritzy’s cruelty and paraben free lip pencils are incredibly creamy and are infused with plant oils and waxes to moisturize and protect your lips all day. Wear it alone or under lipstick or lip gloss!

Laritzy has been popping up everywhere as of late. I’ve received their lip pencils in a number of boxes over the last few months. I really like this brand, I would just be a little more excited if we had received a different product from their line.

Cate & Chloe Review August 2017 – Final Thoughts

Even though I don’t love every single item in this moth’s Cate & Chloe box, I would still consider it a win. I received two gorgeous pieces that I’ve been lusting over and that right there makes the box extremely valuable. I am in love with the necklace and earrings I received this month. I have a feeling they are going to become favourites and will be worn a lot. I’m not a huge fan of the bracelet, but as I mentioned above, that is strictly a personal preference and doesn’t make the box any less valuable in my eyes. I have really been enjoying this subscription the last few months……actually, more like the last year. You can’t go wrong with the price, and the styles we receive are gorgeous. If you have been looking for a jewelry subscription, this just might be the one for you.
