Choulala Box Review June 2020

Choulala Box is a box of curated, fashionable children’s clothing delivered right to your door. It is designed to empower kids with the everyday routine of self-dressing by going back to wardrobe basics. Their BLAST Boxes are a monthly delivery of ethical kids fashion brands, to help busy parents build capsule wardrobes for their kids. They kindly sent us this box for review.

I get very excited when our Choulala Box arrives. I say “our” because it’s just as much for me as it is for Steven. I love that I am building a capsule wardrobe for Steven and can’t wait for him to start wearing the outfits. Choulala Box starts at size 2T but Steven is already in size 9-12 months so he will be wearing his Choulala Box clothes sooner than later.

The BLAST™ Method

We encourage parents to see fashion and self-dressing as more than a simple task of putting on and off clothes. To use it instead to connect, empower and inspire independence and confidence while having fun!

Choulala Box gives you the tools with the BLAST™ method to simplify wardrobe selection and bring back the fun in this everyday task.

  • it connects: it develops their curiosity so that they can discover what makes them unique
  • it empowers: it gives them the confidence that they can do anything on their own
  • its fun: it brings back the joy in their everyday routine to get them off on a good start
  • it inspires: it creates a positive feeling in them that lays the foundation for a ‘can do’ mindset

Here’s a closer look at the items I received in my June Mystery Choulala Box….

Hat

This was the spoiler for June Choulala Box and I was so darn excited to add it to Steven’s wardrobe. It’s such a great hat! It fits my style preferences perfectly. I love simple, casual styles and Steven will be able to wear this hat with most of the items he has received thus far.

T-Shirt

I’m not really a fan of bright colors but Steven’s wardrobe can’t be black and white exclusively. I’m sure he will love this top and I can always balance it out with a pair of jeans and black runners.

Tank

Absolutely in love with this tank! Can I get one in my size? I’m sure Steven won’t mind twinning with his Mom. I love the color and I love the old-school vibe.

Joggers

Grey joggers are a must-have for any capsule wardrobe. They are comfy, versatile and easy to throw on. I can pair them with Steven’s new t-shirt, runners and the trucker hat. Such a great outfit!

Pants

Lastly we have a pair of striped pants. Stripes are my favorite so these grabbed my attention immediately. These will go perfectly with the black t-shirt and black hoodie from last month’s box. I could also pair them with the black long-sleeve and royal blue sweatshirt from our April box. Eeek! So cute!

Choulala Box Review June 2020 – Final Thoughts

This month’s Choulala Box got me even more excited for Steven to be big enough to start wearing his toddler clothes. Now that we have received three boxes I can really see the capsule wardrobe coming together, and how well all of the items mix and match. I can pair the tops from this month with the bottoms from our first two boxes and the same goes for the bottoms from this month pairing with the tops from April and May. Not every item will match but a majority of them will and that will make things so much easier for both Steven and myself. It means we need to have less items in his wardrobe and it will be so much faster to get him dress each morning. I can’t recommend this box enough. Choulala Box is a must-have for any new mom, or mom with toddlers. It’s one of my favorite boxes to receive.
