Decocrated is a home decor subscription service who believes that turning a house into a home should be effortless. Decocrated is for you if you love styling your home, and you want a little inspiration. They kindly sent us this box for review.

Looking for a way to spruce up your home each season? Do you love to decorate but get overwhelmed by all the choices? Do you have limited time to shop for seasonal decor every 3 months? These are just a few of the reasons I LOVE Decocrated. I like to decorate my living room or home office with different pieces each season but realistically I just don’t have the time, or the decor knowledge to pick things out on my own. Decocrated is perfect for those of us who need a little help in the home decor department……they choose the pieces for you, make sure everything is coordinated, and ship the box right to your door. What’s not to love?

Subscription Details

When you sign up for a Decocrated subscription you can expect to receive 5-7 full-size items (at a price well below their retail value — you savvy shopper, you). Items may include an assortment of products, such as decorative trays, tabletop décor, throw pillow covers, table runner, small DIY projects, printed art, and more. Each box includes a Decocrated Booklet complete with product descriptions, pro tips, how-tos, and inspiration.

Here’s a closer look at the Spring Decocrated…..

The Art Print

Add color and sentimental warmth to your home with this season’s art print. One side tells you to “Live in Color” with its abstract use of dusty blues and bright pinks. Then flip over to reveal your heart’s desire and that “home” is truly where the heart is.

Each season we received a new art print. They are always double-sided which allows you to switch things up every so often and they are always the same size so grab yourself a pretty new frame and switch out your print each season.

The Framed Art

A combination of intricate brushstrokes, beautiful colors and pure emotion, this one-of-a-kind artwork has been matted and framed to display in your home. Carefully thought-out-strokes of vibrant colors create a mix of textures and simplicity that elevate the look and feel of any room wherever displayed.

Here we have a framed piece that matches the art print perfectly. Display them together for a cohesive look. They also point out the fact that you can lean the frame rather than hanging it. I actually really love the look of a leaning frame, whether it be on your desk, mantel or a small shelf. It saves you from putting a hole in the wall as well.

The Art Magnets

Forged from some of the most magnetic materials on earth, these abstract magnets will hold your life together with elegant style. Use in conjunction with the parenthesis magnet board to display important papers, notes or (GASP!) bills, because #adulting.

These little magnets are super cute and will be so handy. I have a small place on my fridge where I like to hang photos and lists and these will be perfect for that. Or……I can use them with the next item…..

The Magnet Board

I am in love with this magnet board! It will go with any decor scheme thanks to the simple colors and design and it can be used a number of different ways. In my office, the kitchen, the nursery, etc….

I’m leaning towards using it in my office as a vision board.

The Metal Lantern

Light your way into the beauty of Spring with this metal lantern that is the perfect tabletop item. Create lush centrepieces with sprigs of green and pops of bright florals. Or keep it simple and elegant with a beautiful candle displayed on your coffee table. No matter how you style it, this lantern won’t let you down.

This is one of the spoilers I saw for the Spring box and it’s probably my favorite item this season. It’s so versatile and so perfect for my living room. Fill it with flowers or candles….or add a hint of holiday decor each season. Pumpkins for Halloween, tree ornaments for Christmas…..etc.

The Spring Pillows

Good things come in pairs and these pillow covers are no exception. Created in a dusty teal blue hue, these covers are the perfect compliment to your growing collection of Decocrated’s everyday decor. The twill texture ensures that this pillow is sturdy to handle all the love it gets with daily use.

I love that we receive pillow covers in most of the boxes. I have a comfy reading chair, complete with plush pillows in my office and it’s fun to switch up the covers each season.

The Tabletop Set

Glamorous, elegant and functional are just a few words to describe this organizational beauty. Whether you need to organize your precious gems or need to keep all those tools of creation together, this is a must have that is perfect for any room.

I am so in love with this tabletop set. I’m trying to decide if I like it more than the lantern…..I think it’s a tie. This set is extremely versatile and can be displayed so many ways. Combine or separate the set and fill each piece with your favorite things.

The Burlap Tote

Think of yourself like Captain Planet when you use this tote on your next grocery trip. Why? Because by using this tote you will single-handedly reduce the number of plastic bags that get used per year. When you aren’t using this bag to #savetheplanet, be a modern Mary Poppins as you take this bag around town. Made with a sturdy burlap body and thick faux leather straps (we love all the animals), this tote is large enough to hold all your essentials and your family’s too.

How great is this burlap bag?! It’s not your typical reusable bag, it’s so much better. I love the burlap (as opposed to canvas) and the faux leather straps. I also love the blue detail and of course the “it’s what’s inside that counts” quote. Perfect for a trip to the mall, grocery store or book store. I can see myself using this a often.

Decorated Review Spring 2020 – Final Thoughts

The Spring Decocrated exceeded my expectations. I am so impressed with the curation, number of items, and quality of each piece. I feel like there are two hero items this season – the Tabletop Set and the Metal Lantern. Both pieces are extremely versatile and can be used year round. But it doesn’t stop there. We also received some beautiful art pieces, pillow covers, a magnet board and a beautiful burlap tote. So many beautiful pieces and so many ways I will be able to incorporate them into my current decor scheme. Decocrated outdid themselves this season.
