Ecocentric Mom Review October 2016

Ecocentric Mom Review October 2016

I reviewed my first Ecocentric Mom box back in December of last year, and even though I’m not a Mom, I really enjoyed it. It doesn’t really matter that I’m not a Mom yet, I look at subscription boxes for what they are and who they cater to, and this one is perfect for Moms. Expecting Moms, new Moms, all Moms…..

October Details

This month I am reviewing the Mom Box. Personally I like this one the most because it’s kind of like a little pampering box for Mommy’s. Don’t get me wrong, the other boxes are great as well, but I’m selfish, and I like the idea of a box that spoils Moms……we all know they need it, and deserve it.

Indie Lee Squaline Facial Oil

Indie Lee uses products comprised of the finest all-natural ingredients around the world. You’ll love the soft, nourishing feel of the Squaline Facial Oil. It’s great for all skin types and never feels greasy or clogs pores.

I rave about face oils all the time. I started using them a year or two ago, and prefer them to my face creams. My skin responds better to oils, and I find that they hydrate better than creams.

SquareHue Polish

SquareHue delivers a beautiful, curated collection of premium nail polish colors to its style aware members every month. Surprise yourself with SqaureHue’s hassle-free monthly nail polish boxes. Polish is 7-free clean formula, one of the cleanest in the industry, cruelty-free, vegan-friendly and made in the USA.

I LOVE receiving polish in my subscription boxes! I received a dark blue shade, I wonder if all subscribers received the same, or different. I go through phases with my polish and this will be perfect for my dark polish phase.

Smart Ash Natural and Organic Teeth Whitener/Detoxifier

Bedrock & Bloom is a natural body-care company based out of Nashville. Their goal is to create safe, natural alternatives to the products we use everyday. You’ll love that the Smart Ash Natural and Organic Teeth Whitener is safe and comfortable for sensitive teeth and leaves you with a beautiful, white smile without the harsh chemicals.

Yes! This stuff is awesome and I can’t wait to try it. I have read great reviews and heard wonderful things. I received it in another box, but that was right before the move so I haven’t had a chance to try it yet. I am very happy to receive another sample because I have a feeling I am going to love it.

Egyptian Magic All Purpose Skin Cream

Egyptian Magic is a skin care cream with legendary moisturizing powers due to its unique blend of all natural ingredients delivered only from living plants and organisms. It has been on the market for 22 years and has grown through word of mouth into one of the most popular and widely endorsed skin creams in the world.

I’m not a huge fan of foil samples, but these might be good for my travel bag.

PaddyWax Apothecary Travel Tin

At Paddywax we have dedicated ourselves to creating something lovely for every home. Our collections combine innovative scents and creative designs for every gift-giving occasion. Sit back, strike a match, and relax.

Candles are the perfect addition to any subscription box, especially one that is meant to pamper. There’s nothing better than curling up with a cup of tea, or a good book and lighting a new candle.

Zabana Face & Body Tonic in Lavender Lemongrass

Zabana means “Savannah” in Native American Taino dialect – all ZE Products are of plant derived origin, and every formulation uses the essence of herbs. It is the mission of Zabana Essentials to create natural, vegan, and cruelty free cosmetics and beauty products that are effective, good for the body, and that also feel and smell amazing.

I wasn’t overly excited about this product until I read the label and found out that it aides in relieving stress and anxiety. I won’t use it on my face but I will definitely use it as a body spray after getting out of the bath.

Packed with sea and plant-based vitamins and minerals, organic protein, fibre, probiotics and enzymes. KidzShake can give any child’s diet a boost, and help fill those nutrition gaps when kids are going through their picky stage.

I’m always intrigued by nutritional supplements like this. I love discovering new brands and products. This one is made with Whey Protein which isn’t on the vegan approved diet list, but it also contains brown rice powder which I like.

Kelapo Coconut Oil

I use coconut oil for everything…..literally everything. I cook with it, put it in my hair, use it on my face……etc. Like I mentioned above, I don’t get too excited about foil samples but I love the product itself.

Ecocentric Mom Review October 2016 – Final Thoughts

In addition to all these goodies, we also received a coupon code for  one free month of unlimited yoga, meditation, and body sculpt classes from Yoga For You Online. I always have great intentions with these kind of things, but life gets in the way and I never end up using them. Other than that, how fun are the items we received in this month’s box? The October box contains a nice little mixture of beauty and pampering products, and I love that they also included a candle. This would make a great gift for new Moms.
