Extraordinary Man Box Review Fall 2021

From the editors of BCLiving, Extraordinary Man Box is a seasonal subscription box filled with on-trend products & accessories that redefine extraordinary style. Combining their experience and knowledge of the hottest trends, they have put together an uncompromising package that arrives in your mailbox each season. They kindly sent us this box for review.

Our Fall Extraordinary Man Box is here and I was really looking forward to this one. I’ve mentioned this before, but here in Canada men’s subscription boxes are few and far between so I appreciate this one very much because it’s one of the few boxes I get to share with my Husband. And I say “share” because even though this is a men’s box I always end up finding a few things for myself.

  • Extraordinary decor and accessories – Whether they are for your home or you, these will add that subtle bit of class that you know that’s what it’s all about.

Here’s a closer look at what we received in the Fall Extraordinary Man Box……

Groom – Moisturizing Shower Gel, $26

In 2019, we were introduced to the awesome offering of Groom. The Montreal-based purveyor takes pride in manufacturing in-house and in natural and eco-friendly ingredients, instead of harsh chemicals. (They even received a plastic negative certification, meaning—for every bottle sold—two bottles are diverted from landfills or removed from the environment.) This shower gel helps moisturize deeply and boasts a terrific woodsy nose, along with energizing notes of both lime and eucalyptus. So—to help you wake up— just lather up!

Groom is a brand we have received before and I have been happy with all their products. This particular shower gel is something I will use if my husband doesn’t. It has a slightly masculine scent but it is very subtle, I get more of a fresh, energizing scent from it which will work for both myself and my hubby.

Jubel Naturals – Pain Relief Roll-on, $15

The inventive nature of Jubel Naturals had us applauding the second we discovered their all natural body care products. And—as we all hopefully return to some semblance of normal—we thought it would help to offer a workout aid for the fall. Their Pain Relief Roll-on eases muscle and joint pains, aches, strains and soreness. It’s lightweight, quick to absorb and the perfect post-gym assist.

You all know how I feel about aromatherapy products – I LOVE THEM! This one is especially wonderful because of the timing. My husband has a very physical job and often has sore muscles. This will come in very handy.

Canvas Candle Co. – Ember Travel Candle, $16

One of our favourite Vancouver-based makers, Canvas Candle Co. has always been a preferred choice for the Extraordinary Man #editorsbox. This season, we’re sharing their Ember travel candle, with notes of vanilla, cedar and nutmeg. It’s six ounces, burns for up to 40 hours and is easy to transport with you when you decide you’re comfortable hitting the road again.

Oh how I love Canvas Candle Co. I have received their lovely candles a number of times over the years and I have loved all of them. This one has a really great wintery scent. I definitely pick up the Cedar Ember and get a hint of Vanilla.

Wolf Clothing Co. – Razor Sock, $4

Subscribers have seen Wolf Clothing Co. products in our collections before. From socks to accessories, their Vancouver team combines style and quality in ways that continue to impress us–and this season is no different. They sent us a brand new design, Razor, to share with the country. The orange and blue colour combo is a great match for the season, and, as always, their stitching boasts a 176-needle count, connecting the toe and sock for the most comfortable feel.

I don’t know about you but my Hubby goes through socks pretty darn fast so I love that we receive a new pair each season. This brand is one we have come to love and the color/pattern is pretty great.

Haupy’s – Maplesque Moose Rub, $12

Maplesque is a homegrown classic, or as British Columbia-based Haupy’s likes to say, it’s “world famous in Canada!” This sweet and peppery spice blend with a maple aroma is fantastic, and features premium ingredients, low sodium and no MSG or fillers. Recommended on veggies, pork, chicken or seafood, this seasoning will add a great flavour to most any meal. Please rub responsibly!

I think this is the item I am most excited about. Now that the weather has cooled down I find myself wanting to spend a lot more time in the kitchen and this rub is something I’ve been wanting to try for quite some time. It’s mostly meant for meat but I am going to use it for roasted veggies.

Riversol – Daily Moisturizing Cream, $49

Protect your skin this fall with Vancouver-based Riversol‘s daily moisturizing cream. A potent blend of vitamins and antioxidants provide deep hydration and shield against moisture loss throughout the day. The result is maximum protection for the skin from environmental factors while combating multiple signs of aging. To use, apply a dime-sized amount (it’s a concentrated formulation!) over entire face, except eye area. Use twice daily, in the morning and at night.

Riversol is a skincare brand that gets rave reviews. We have received it a few times now but I have only tried one of their products – their hand cream. I’m in the process of testing out face creams and am yet to find one I love so this is going in my “to try” pile ASAP.

Extraordinary Man Box Review Fall 2021 – Final Thoughts

I always appreciate our Extraordinary Man Box deliveries and the Fall box is no exception. I feel like they did a really great job this season when it comes to product assortment. We received a nice mixture – fashion accessory, food product, skincare, home decor, and aromatherapy. My favorite items this season are the spice rub and the candle but I’m also very much appreciating the skincare and aromatherapy products because we will definitely get use out of those.

This is one to keep on your list when it comes time to shop for Christmas presents!
