From the editors of BCLiving, Extraordinary Man Box is a seasonal subscription box filled with on-trend products & accessories that redefine extraordinary style. Combining their experience and knowledge of the hottest trends, they have put together an uncompromising package that arrives in your mailbox each season. They kindly sent us this box for review.

Extraordinary Man Box is a new Canadian subscription box and I am SO excited to be sharing it with you today. They started shipping the end of last year but this is my first time reviewing it. I found out about this men’s subscription box through their sister box – Simply Beautiful Box.

A Canadian Lifestyle Subscription Box for the Husband! I am already a fan!

  • Extraordinary personal care – Part of what elevates you is the care you give to not only your clothes but to yourself. Using only high-quality ingredients, these products will keep you feeling fresh.
  • Extraordinary decor and accessories – Whether they are for your home or you, these will add that subtle bit of class that you know that’s what it’s all about.

Here’s a closer look at what we received in the Spring Extraordinary Man Box……

K’Pure Natural Body Care Happy Ending Muscle Salve ($17)

Sure, the cheeky name caught our eye, but the benefits of this all-natural, non-toxic and cruelty-free product is what had us cheering. Made in Mission BC, with vitamin-rich almond oil, beeswax, calendula and a blend of organic peppermint, comfrey, arnica, cayenne pepper and turmeric, this salve is the perfect sore-muscle friend after a workout. It eases pain of muscle fatigue, join pain and even arthritis. Do not apply to broken skin or face, and wash hands immediately after use.

First of all…..what a great name! It caught my attention immediately and the husband is going to love it. I am very familiar with K’Pure Natural Body Care and am happy to see it in the box. This is an item we will be happy to have in the cupboard.

Wolf Clothing Co. Ripple Socks ($14)

We can’t get enough of the quality and style of Vancouver-based Wolf Clothing Co. Boasting 176-needle-count contraction and a hand-linking process to connect tow and ensure a snug fit. Wolf’s socks are the perfect way to add a splash of color. With an emphasis on splash this time around, the ripple design mimics the visual effect caused by a rock thrown into water, with shades of blue incrementally floating outward.

I am in love with these socks! The pattern is amazing and I can feel the quality just by holding them in my hands. The husband and I will be fighting over these because…..I wear his socks.

Lark & Ives Luggage Tag ($24)

The clean, simple design of Vancouver’s Lark & Ives luggage tag makes it the perfect addition to any travel bag. Made of vegan leather, this upscale accessory inspired by the Japanese art of origami will help your bag stand out on the carousel. Most importantly, your contact information is stored safely within so if you get separated from your luggage it can be easily (but discreetly) identified.

The husband and I have been traveling more often as of late and I didn’t realize the importance of a luggage tag until we were in the airport, looking for our bags among all the other black suitcases on the carousel. This will definitely come in handy.

Vitality Time Release B60 Complete ($23)

Vancouver’s Vitality supplements have been a favorite in previous Extraordinary Man Boxes. This season, they’re aiming to increase your energy, reduce stress levels and support recovery after workouts. This formula combines a B60 complex with Vitamin C in a one-a-day, time-release tablet to support your overall well-being. And, yes, all of Vitality’s products are vegan-friendly, non-GMO and made in Canada.

I take vitamins daily and am very conscious of getting enough Vitamin B in my diet so these are a great addition to the box. Increased energy and reduced stress sounds perfect right about now.

Avventura Outdoors Expandable Packing Cube ($18)

Between shifting security restrictions and the hectic pace of travel, it’s nice to have something that makes the journey a little easier. Weighing next to nothing and constructed of durable, easy-to-clean nylon, this handy packing cube from Vancouver’s Avventura Outdoors is an indispensable aid for both air travel and outdoor adventures. The uses are endless, keep dirty gear away from clean, stay organized between flights, and safely stash electronics and gear.

This is a genius little travel companion. The husband is notorious for dumping everything in his bag and asking me to help him sort it once we reach our destination. This will be perfect for his carry-on bag.

TruEarth Eco-Strips Laundry Detergent ($10)

Ready to do some spring cleaning? Clean, green and simple, TruEarth laundry strips make washing clothes a cinch. Paraben-free, phosphate-free, hypoallergenic, vegan, readily biodegradable and free of added dyes and chlorine bleach, these strips take all the stress out of laundry so you can just enjoy the fresh results. TruEarth offers a subscription service so you can have the detergent delivered directly to your door each month, saving you time and money.

This is definitely an item I will appreciate more than my Husband. I’m in charge of laundry at our house and this is the kind of item I get excited about. Convenient and simple.

Scentuals Invigorate Facial Cream ($29)

If winter left your skin dry and parched, Coquitlam’s Scentuals can provide relief as a new season dawns. Their Invigorate Facial Cream is fast-absorbing, and utilizes organic and enriching oils and butters to both hydrate and heal throughout the day. The vegan-friendly, gluten-free blend combines organic organ and almond oil with aloe and shea butters. Apply after cleansing, massaging into skin until absorbed.

Scentuals is another brand I am familiar with. I have received their products in other subscription boxes over the years and have always been happy with them. Now the Husband will have his own moisturizer and won’t have to use mine:)

Extraordinary Man Box Review Spring 2019 – Final Thoughts

The Spring Extraordinary Man Box has a total retail value of $135 and provided us with some really great items that my Husband will appreciate. I am super excited to have discovered a lifestyle box for men and I love that they feature brands from Canada, and more specifically BC. I think we received a great selection of items – skincare, travel accessories, socks and supplements. It’s a nice sampling of products and the value is definitely there. I have tons of options when it comes to lifestyle subscription boxes so it’s really nice to see a new one on the market specifically for the men!
