Ok, can we just talk about the Fall FabFitFun box! That box is going to go down in history as the best box EVER!! I don’t think they are ever going to be able to top that one. I actually get kind of sad when I open boxes like that because I know that I will never receive another box like it. They set the bar way too high, and I can’t figure out if that is a good thing or a bad thing??

I really had no clue what to expect with the Winter FabFitFun box. They pretty much covered all the essentials in the Fall box (scarf, coffee cup, makeup, colouring book), basically all my favourites. There really wasn’t anything left for the Winter box, except for jewelry…….

D.L. & CO Candle – Blackberry Nectar

This candle smells amazing and the holder is gorgeous. I prefer gold to silver so I’m really glad I received this one. I believe the Bergamot Woods candle came in a silver holder. I definitely would have preferred a more Christmasy scent, but I’m not going to complain. A candle is a candle, and I love them all.

Gorjana Necklace – Taner Toggle Lariat in Gold

These beautifully crafted necklaces are super versatile and perfect for pairing with your other go-to pieces. No matter which necklace you get, 2017 will be your year to shine.

I really lucked out with the product variations this time around. Similar to the candle, there were two different variations of this necklace and the other one was silver. I obviously prefer this one, and I love that it can be worn long or as a choker.

I read in another review that some people felt like these cards didn’t go with the winter theme, but I actually really like them. They make me think of New Years, and seeing as that is right around the corner, they fit the theme perfectly.

Moleskine 2017 Weekly Planner

I am ALWAYS excited to receive planners, and I think it is an amazing idea for a December box, but I wish they would have included a different style/brand. There are some really amazing planners on the market right now and this one just seems kind of boring.

Ok, you all know how I feel about skincare products. They FREAK me out! My skin is so darn picky. It never use to be. But now that I am in my 30’s I feel like it has a mind of its own. But, I took one for the team and tested this product out yesterday. It is super easy to use, spray on, massage off. And you only have to leave it on for a few seconds. Since it was an easy process I figured why not give it a try. And the results……..pretty awesome. My skin was soft afterwards, and it definitely had a glow. My cheeks were rosy red all day long. I’m actually very happy with the results.

Anderson Lilley Beach Butter Body Cream

Your skin needs a little extra TLC this season. Apply this rich, hydrating body cream to your hands, feet elbows and any other area of your body that is prone to dry skin.

I use body lotion of some sort every single day, so I kind of feel like a bit of a connoisseur. I was actually thinking about body lotion this morning as I was applying my Honest Company lotion. My skin is very dry right now, and it just wasn’t getting the job done. I really need a rich cream during the winter so I was happy to see this hydrating formal in the box. The scent seems a little odd for this time of year, much more suited to Summer, but the formula itself is really nice. I have it on my hands as we speak. It’s extremely moisturizing, but it’s not leaving greasy finger prints on my keyboard…..I love it.

Starlight Children’s Foundation Star Pin

This season FabFitFun has partnered with Starlight Children’s Foundation to spread awareness for Starlight’s amazing cause. We are to help spread awareness by taking a photo wearing the pin and posting it on Instagram with the appropriate tags. This is such a great idea. Absolutely PERFECT for a holiday box.

FabFitFun Review Winter 2016 – Final Thoughts

Hmmm…..I’m not too sure what to say about the Winter FabFitFun box. On one hand I love it, and on the other hand, I keep comparing it to the Fall box, and it just doesn’t stack up. I really need to get the Fall box out of my mind. If I look at the Winter box completely separate from the Fall box then it is pretty darn awesome. We received some really amazing products from some really amazing brands. I will be using almost all of the items we received. I think I just would have liked to see some sort of winter accessory….slippers, gloves, etc. Oh, and definitely missing the fitness related item…..where’s that at?
