I have a new-found appreciation for Fabletics. I’m not sure if you saw my February Review but I decided to use that month’s outfit as a test outfit, stepped out of my comfort zone, ordered something a little different, and ended up falling in love with this subscription service more than I already was.
I decided to do the same thing again this month and ordered an outfit I NEVER would have ordered a few months ago. Fabletics is really great at keeping up with the trends, and there’s a fitness-wear trend that is huge right now, a trend that also happens to be a little scary……the bodysuit!
Here’s a look at the outfit I ordered this month, and why I would HIGHLY recommend you give it a try…..even if it scares you.
The Indeo Outfit
Lock your layers down in supportive gear that stays close to your body. Team our first-ever strappy bodysuit with our high-waisted, stirrup leggings in this month’s Monarch print.
Thong Style Bottom, All-Way Stretch, Removable Cups, Moisture-Wicking, Compression Fabric. Available in black and lilac.
I NEVER thought I would see the day that a thong-style bodysuit would make its way into my fitness-wear collection. Really? A bodysuit? Who do I think I am? There’s no way I could pull this look off. But……..I’m hear to tell you that I was wrong. I CAN pull this thing off, and I am actually really loving it. This bodysuit just might be my new favourite piece to pair with high-waisted leggings.
I ordered size x-small, just as I did my outfit last month, and it fits great! I use to think I was size small in Fabletics fitted tops, but I’m actually not. I’m short through the torso so the straps could be slightly shorter, but that’s the only issue with this wonderful little suit. I LOVE the color, I love the built-in cups, and I love the multi-strap detail in the back. I want this bodysuit in multiple colours…..really I do.
Jazz High-Waisted Stirrup Legging
UPF 50+, High-Rise Waist, All-Way Stretch, Chafe-Resistant, Slimming Compression Waistband, Moisture-Wicking.
I’m already in love with the new high-waisted style of leggings Fabletics has added to their line, but I wasn’t sure how I would feel about the stirrups. I can’t even remember the last time I wore a pair of leggings with stirrups. Come to think of it, I don’t know if I ever have.
Well, these things are AWESOME! I am loving the updated 80’s vibe they have going on, and they go perfectly with the bodysuit. Again I ordered x-small and they fit like a glove. For those of you who are wondering, I wear size 4 or 6 in Lululemon. I will opt for size 6 if I don’t want the item to be super fitted. So I would say Fabletics is pretty similar to Lululemon sizing. Everyone needs a pair of high-waisted leggings in their life. They are SO comfortable.
Fabletics Review April 2017 – Final Thoughts
I am absolutely thrilled with my outfit choice this month. I ordered it as a “tester” as I wasn’t sure about the bodysuit and stirrup styles, but now that I have tried both pieces on I am in love. I also wasn’t sure about the sizing but they ended up fitting better than expected. For reference I am 5’6, about 116 pounds, and my bust is 34/B. I can also wear size small in pretty much any piece from Fabletics, but now that I have tested out x-small I definitely like it better. The high-waisted leggings are my new favourite, I hope they come out with more patterns next month, and I am absolutely loving the bodysuit trend. How cute will this outfit be with an oversize grey cardigan and cute pair of runners. I would not only wear this to workout, but I would also wear it as a weekend-casual outfit. I may need to order a similar outfit next month……
