Hello! This month, we wanted to try to incorporate a few fun pieces that you might not initially be drawn to but we think will work well in your wardrobe. Starting with this great pair of shorts – not always our first choice but so practical on a warm day. We thought you could pair it with the band tee and neutral open front shacket. We also love this leopard blazer (sized down because we thought it fit large and oversized shoulders are never a good look) which we love with the band tee, your favorite black denim and your Keds sneakers. Lastly, try this jumpsuit with your bomber jacket from last month and sneakers, we think this is a great casual piece for summer. As always, let us know how these work for you so we can adjust next month if needed.

Fletcher Button up Jacket ($119.99)

This button up jacket is absolutely perfect. I secretly stalk the IG page @cbstyled and she has a jacket just like this that she wears often and even has a post where she styles it 6 different ways. Ever since I saw it on her page I’ve wanted one.

Note: Here I have paired it with the shoes and jeans from my February box.

Outfits – I can pair this piece with both pairs of jeans I have received, the shorts from this month, the floral tee and maroon skirt from last month and my black romper from my Valentine’s Day box.

THIS IS A KEEPER!

Long Sleeve Blazer ($119.99)

Eeek…..this is another piece I’ve secretly been wanting to add to my closet but at the same time have put it off because it’s a little out of my comfort zone. Now that I have it in front of me there’s no way I can send it back. My stylist said to pair it with the band tee, my favorite black jeans and Keds sneakers.

Outfits – I can pair this with the band tee and shorts from this month, the jeans from February and March, and the black Romper.

THIS IS A KEEPER!

Queen Graphic Tee ($49.99)

Yes, yes, yes! I LOVE a good band tee and this one is especially awesome because I also happen to LOVE Queen. My stylist said to pair it with the shorts and button up jacket, I can also pair it with the leopard blazer.

Outfits – I can wear this with both pairs of jeans, the skirt & moto jacket from last month, the shorts from this month and the shacket from February.

THIS IS A KEEPER!

High Waist Shorts ($69.99)

I don’t wear shorts often but I definetley need a pair or two in my closet seeing as it can get quite hot where I live. These ones are great because they are stretchy, hight-waisted and mid-thigh length. They are size small and while I definitely could have gone with an x-small they are still wearable.

Outfits – I can pair these with the band tee, jacket and blazer from this month, the floral tee from last month, the white tee and bomber from March, and the quilted sweater from February.

Perry Jumpsuit ($114.99)

After receiving the black romper in my Valentine’s Day box I have become a HUGE fan and would live in rompers if I could, so I was very excited to see this in the box. As per my stylists suggestion, it will look super cute with the bomber from March and my Keds sneakers.

Cost Breakdown

This month’s Frock Box is pretty darn great and I’m most likely going to keep everything, but let’s just play around with some numbers. Lets pretend that I want to return the shorts since they are a tad too big. Here’s the breakdown…..

So…..if I keep everything in the box I save money and essentially get an extra item. Such a great deal!

Frock Box Review & TRY-ON May 2021 – Final Thoughts

Frock Box is easily one of the best boxes I receive. I can’t even tell you how much I enjoy seeing this box in the mail. My stylist always does a great job, she gets me out of my comfort zone, and she is helping me create an amazing capsule wardrobe as I am able to mix and match most of the pieces with items from previous boxes. I love to read her notes each month and she always gives me great outfit ideas, AND I love the fact that I save 25% if I keep everything in the box. It ends up being such a great deal. If you have been thinking about giving Frock Box a try, I HIGHLY recommend it!
