November Theme – Honoring Our Favorite Hacker

Wolf Clothing Co. Socks – $15.00

These socks are definitely bold! A nice addition to dress-up an outfit or wear to a casual gathering. These socks would pair nicely with a gray, black or navy suit. They are a thinner sock, but I would be mindful if you have sweaty feet as these might not breathe well.
Tieroom Tie – $29
“This month, enjoy a modern approach to Paisley, with the Tieroom Tie. We appreciate how versatile this tie is, and how it can go with almost any colour scheme. Enjoy it in your closet all year!”
Subscribers received a classy dark grey and paisley tie. The grey will pair and complement with many colours including a navy, maroon, or any-shade grey suit. This tie will pair well with many outfits as it is a timeless design.
Nine to Five Pocket Square – $19
“Take your look up a notch with the Nine To Five pocket square. Made of 100% polyester, this pocket square is durable and less likely to crease, over other fabrics. With the toned-down color palette of the tie this month, pair it with this pocket square to create a complete, bold look.”
Subscribers received a handsome orange and grey pocket square this month. It is definitely bold and will complement the tie, as well as the socks. This was my partner’s favourite item this month!
NobleSole Shoe Horn – $15

Is it cheesy that I was SO excited about this item this month? It is so useful and understated and has already come in handy multiple times since receiving this box. It is a classy colour and we have it hanging by the front door for ease of use.
Gentlemen of the North Beanie – $25
“Made to keep you looking good and feeling warm, this month we bring you a grey beanie from the Toronto-based brand, Gentlemen of the North. Pair this with your favourite fall flannel, sweater or overcoat and embrace all that fall and winter fashion.”
My partner looks amazing in this beanie or what we might call a toque here in Canada. He looks sort of like a bad-ass bank robber or hacker perhaps, but super handsome nonetheless. It fits his large head too, so that’s a plus. Of course, this beanie could be worn with both business and casual attire.
New Barbasol 1919 Classic Shaving Cream Sample

This month we bring you a sample of their new Barbasol 1919 non-aerosol shaving cream. My partner really enjoyed this new Barbasol Classic Shaving Cream sample. He said it provided a very close and comfortable shave, and it smelled really great.
Gentleman’s Box Review November 2020 – Final Thoughts
This month’s Hacker honoree is… you guessed it – Rami Malek! Did you guess correctly?
Gentleman’s Box wanted to celebrate him as they believe he has always had a good consistent taste when it comes to his style. I found that the items we received fit the “Our Favorite Hacker” and underlying “streetwear” themes great. Orange is a bold colour to add to any gentleman’s wardrobe and will be a great addition to my partner’s. This month’s Gentleman’s Box fit my partner’s rougher around the edges style and he liked all the items included! This box is valued at $103 which is a fantastic value based on the low cost of the monthly subscription. I am very impressed with this month’s box, and my partner has used all of the items in it already!
