GlobeIn Artisan Box is a monthly subscription box featuring favorite products from global artisans. Each box is curated around a monthly theme selected by the editor with the aim of helping you experience new and interesting products and cultures. They kindly sent us this box for review.
Every month GlobeIn releases two different Artisan Boxes. For the month of June they have the Refresh Box, and the Al Fresco box. Both of which look amazing. Today we are reviewing the Refresh Box, and in the next few days we will also post a review for the Al Fresco Box.

Kikoi Blanket – Kenya
Simply meaning “wrap” in Swahili, the kikoi has traditionally been used with great versatility. Use as a towel, blanket, or sarong-style cover-up at the beach, pool or spa.
This blanket is absolutely gorgeous. I love the colors and I love the versatility. I would definitely wear this a wrap, but it will also make a great addition to my beach bag. It gives off a Summer vibe and has me wanting to get outside and put it to use.
Sun Hat – Mexico
Take refuge from solar oppression under the wide protective brim of your new sun hat. Your hat was woven from the leaves of dried palms into its full SPF glory by our friends in Oaxaca. Sport your new hat on walks and hikes, in the garden and at the beach.
This is absolutely perfect!! Do you realize that I have never received a hat like this in a subscription box! It is about time one showed up. I make an effort to stay out of the sun. I have for years. But now that we have purchased our new home, we have a yard that needs to be taken care of. This will come in very handy for my gardening days……and the beach.
Moroccan Tea Glass – Morocco
Hand blown from recycled glass and hand-pained, your glass may be charmed with imperfections. Fill with tea, water, wine, coffee, or juice. Or improvise a candle holder. Hand wash only.
Some of my favourite kitchen items have come from my GlobeIn Artisan boxes. They always manage to find the most beautiful glasses, dishes, and utensils. I would love 3 more of these cups to complete the set.
Moroccan Mint Tea
You know that sort of stale afternoon feeling when your coffee’s worn off and you’re left feeling murky and sluggish as a still pond? When you need to pick it up but want to wind it down, your new mint tea is just the thing. A gentle zing that calms as it revives.
They nailed it with the product description. I started an afternoon ritual of tea drinking about 6 months ago. I look forward to my afternoon cup, along with a snack. And……mint just happens to be my favourite tea to enjoy after lunch, or in the evening.
GlobeIn Artisan Box Review June 2017: Refresh
The first GlobeIn Artisan Box for June is a win with me. It has a Summer Vibe and is getting me excited for the warmer months. I forgot how much I love a good Summer themed box, and this was the perfect reminder. You see, Summer is my least favourite of the 4 seasons. I prefer Fall, Winter & Spring. But there are certain things about Summer that put a smile on my face and get me through to September. I love Summer colors, and I love Summer accessories. The brightly colored towel and the oversize gardening hat are just the pick-me-up I needed to get me excited about enjoying the sun. I absolutely love this month’s GlobeIn theme. It has a little more oomph than the May themes and that makes me happy.
