Colab Original Dry Shampoo

“Ain’t nobody got time for a full wash when baby showers, Easter, and wedding/panels/conference planning kick in. That’s where this award winning dry shampoo saves the in-between wash days. All the oil absorption, no white residue. ($5.49)”

I’m all about the dry shampoo — I love it to buy time in between washes, add body and just feel fresh so I’m sad I had to gift this one to a friend. It works great, smells amazing and leaves no white cast but my family couldn’t bear to be around when I used it. (Now that I think of it, that’s not necessarily a bad thing.) The kids recoiled when I approached, overpowered by the scent, and my hubby threw open the windows to try to get the taste out of his mouth. So maybe pass on this one unless you actually want to drive people away. (In that regard it’s highly effective.)

Cirem HCR 3-in-1 Sheet Mask

This mask is a sub for the one that was supposed to be in the box (the Vitamasques Ruby Sheet Mask at $7) but this one was included instead and it’s worth $20. We like subs like that! I haven’t used it yet but it’s billed as “an instant triple threat for visible signs of aging, dehydration, and dullness.” We shall see!

Inked by Dani Flower Child Temporary Tattoos

“Temporary tattoos are a symbol of the beautiful, yet fleeting moments that come during spring. with 21 designs, you can customize your arms, legs, or other places for a signature look that’s all you for the moments that matter. ($12.99)”

I love these! Fun, delicate and comittment-free. My kind of tattoos!

Avant Skincare Gentle Rose Beautifying Face Exfoliant

“Hydrate intensely and smooth wrinkles with this double duty face exfoliant that leaves the skin soft and supple thanks to its blend of rose and vitamin B5. ($114)”

Gentle and light. I’ve only used it three times so far (once a week) but it feels wonderful. As you’d expect for $114. Avant products are dear.

Nails.INC Blossom Kisses Nail Polish

“Ring in the Spring with this cute nail polish from Nails.INC, a brand with a focus on innovation and how beauty makes us feel. We thought this was a perfect match for this box, being cruelty-free and fitting for a spring color. Also, it’s pink. Need we say more? ($11)”

This polish is soooo lovely! The product card says two to three coats is ideal for a light colour like this one but it’s such a deep hue that one does the trick for me. Goes on evenly, not streaky. I just wish it didn’t chip so quickly. Even with a good top coat I can only get a few days out of my mani. Love the colour.

Victor&Rolf Flowerbomb Nectar

“This perfume takes the essence of Victor&Rolf’s bestseller, Flowerbomb, to a whole new level. Blackcurrant and bergamot top notes, a jasmine and orange flower centre, and a vanilla, patchouli oil, and a benzoin base create a sensual impression that lingers all day long. ($23.69)”

And last but not least, this beautiful little bottle of a really pretty perfume. I’ve sniffed it more than I’ve worn it but I like it a lot. And because I don’t wear perfume that often, this size is perfect.

April’s GLOSSYBOX is valued at $174.14.

Have you tried any of the brands in April’s box? What do you think of April’s mix?
