Goddess Provisions Box Review October 2020
Goddess Provisions is a monthly subscription box that helps light up your soul and nourish your inner goddess to grow your spiritual practice. They kindly sent us this box for review.
Goddess Provisions was created as a way to share tools found to help connect with your divine feminine and grow your spiritual practice. They know we all share in the “busy-ness” of life, but believe in the importance of taking the time to manifest journal, meditate, frolick around in nature, pet kittens, practice yoga, have reiki healing sessions, do tarot card readings, drink green juice, write out the things we’re grateful for, check the astrology forecast and charge our crystals under the full moon. If you enjoy these simple pleasures too, they know you’re going to feel like their monthly box was curated just for you by a true soul sister.
Each month you’ll receive a thoughtfully curated box that contains 5-7 FULL SIZE products including items like crystals, aromatherapy, superfoods, apothecary beauty & spiritual tools. All items will be 100% vegan and cruelty-free because they cherish our furry friends. They consciously package each curation in kraft paper boxes made from 100% recycled materials that are printed on with plant-based inks. Also, for every Goddess Provisions box and boutique item sold, they plant a tree!

October Box Details (Total Value $121)
“The October box theme is “Shadow Work” and the monthly mantra that supports it is: “I shine brightest when I embrace my shadow.””
I only recently learned of shadow work and have been so curious to research more information on it. It was perfect timing that this month’s box had that shadow work theme and some tools that can help in following through with the work.
Here’s a look at what’s in this month’s Goddess Provisions box:
Box Insert
I love this box’s insert! Every month they have a different artist create the cover art to match the theme and it’s always so beautiful. This month’s cover design is by @ink.and.earth and is so perfectly mystical. The inside of the insert contains product information, uses and value along with coupon codes from many of the creators. Opposite from the product information is the monthly mantra designed with more art. Overall it’s just so nice to look at and the cover art could totally be framed!
Zen Den Candles Amethyst Cluster Candle ($15)
“In true clustered gemstone fashion, this candle will radiate balancing energy into your sacred space. Allow the iridescent shimmer and flickering flame to light your way through shadow work.”
This is such a pretty candle! Almost too pretty to use really. I’d almost rather just use it as a decoration or addition to a mediation alter. It doesn’t seem to have an aroma, just a simple candle with a life-like crystal design. I love the idea of using candles to visualize the shadow for shadow-work, but I might have to find another to use since this one is so pretty!
Cosmic Collage Balance Tote Bag ($35)
“Baggage isn’t bad if it feeds your soul! This tote bag portrays the balance between light and dark. Fill it with things that nourish you and remember, when you embrace all of yourself, you embody wisdom and grace.”
What a cool design on this tote bag?! I like that the colors are subtle and muted, but the design itself is bold and meaningful. It’s a really sturdy and nicely made tote that I’m sure I’ll get a lot of use out of.
Goddess Provisions Shadow Caster ($11)
“Honor your shadow and celebrate its beauty. Place a tealight in the center of this shadow caster and witness the dancing shadow of a lotus flower. Meditate on the non-dualism of light & dark and how one does not exist without the other.”
This is really fun! I can’t wait to put a candle in it to see how it casts the shadows (I couldn’t find one for a picture). The lotus flower is a great symbol new beginnings and of how good things take hard work which is perfect for the shadow work theme since it’s not always easy to study and highlight the parts of yourself you keep in the shadows but it’s important for growth. This is definitely going into my meditation alter collection.
Antidote Coffee + Cardamom Chocolate ($7)
“Kakia is the Greek Goddess of Vice. Follow her lead and treat yourself to this vegan chocolate bar. With antioxidant rich ingredients of cacao, arabica coffee and cardamom, indulging in pleasure has never felt better.”
Chocolate is one of my favorite things to get in subscription boxes! This one sounds so delicious. I don’t drink coffee, so I might share this bar with my family, but I’ll definitely be taste testing it at least because the flavor sounds so interesting.
Nothingwild Lotus Protecteur Tattoo By Inkbox ($16)
“This temporary tattoo was designed by @nothingwildtattoo for times of growth & transformation. The lotus symbolizes rebirth and change while the amethyst crystals are soothing and stress-relieving. With skin-safe, cruelty-free ingredients, your tattoo will last for 1-2 weeks.”
This tattoo is really cool! I’ve never heard of these before but it’s a long term temporary tattoo that lasts up to two weeks. This is a fun way to have a tattoo with no regrets and no pain haha. The design is a lotus symbol with crystals (like it says above) which symbolizes dark and light, or balance. What an awesome way to be reminded of this, by wearing it around on your skin. This would be great for wearing while working through some shadow work since it has such great symbolism.
Black Kyanite Stone ($4)
“Shadow work can illuminate a tendency towards harmful attachments. Use this healing stone to cut cords and toxic ties with ease and tranquility.”
I don’t have this stone in my collection yet so I’m glad to be able to add it! It’s really cool looking, like a little wand or something and comes with perfect healing properties of balancing and moving negative energies through the body.
Digital Bonus: The Gold in our Shadows ($33)
“Begin or deepen your shadow work with Ganga Devi Braun. Access guidance on how to prepare and perform an empowering ritual of shadow integration.”
This bonus reading will be so helpful in learning more about how shadow work can enhance growth and healing. I look forward to digging into this one, especially since it comes along with ritual guidance.
Goddess Provisions Box Review October 2020 – Final Thoughts
What a great collection of tools that came in this month’s Goddess Provisions! I really want to look more into shadow work now since I’ve only briefly heard of it. I think it could really help in learning more about myself and how to grow as a person. The items in this month’s box are fun to incorporate with that learning or even just on their own or with other methods of self discovery. Even if you aren’t interested in shadow work, it’s awesome that this box introduces the concepts so you can at least learn something new and find curiosity in a new subject. I look forward to expanding my knowledge this month!
