The Honest Company Review April 2016

The Honest Company has officially taken over my home. When I first started subscribing to the Essentials Bundle I focused on switching all of my cleaning product over, and now that I have successfully completed that, I have slowly been switching everything else over. I no longer use any Bath & Body Works products, which was a very hard transition mind you, but I think it is for the best.

If you aren’t familiar with The Honest Company it is a monthly subscription box of safer, affordable, eco-friendly products that are also really gorgeous. Currently they offer 3 different monthly bundles – Diapers & Wipes Bundle, Essentials Bundle, and a Health & Wellness Bundle.

This month is another repeat offender. I have ordered all of these products before, and can’t seem to live without them. The only difference with the products this time around is the fact that I am trying new scents…….that of which I am very excited about.

Organic Cotton Tampons with Applicator (Regular) – I think I have ordered these almost every month since they were added to the Honest Company product line. I was so happy that they finally came out with monthly essentials for the ladies. I have been very happy with these and probably won’t use regular tampons ever again….if I can help it.

Face + Body Lotion – Deeply Nourishing – This is where it gets even more exciting. I have been using The Honest Company body lotion for at least a year now, but my only complaint was the lack of fragrance. Now they have 4 different scents to choose from and I couldn’t be happier. I have been wanting to get rid of my Bath & Body Works lotion for quite some time, and now I finally can.

Conditioning Detangler – I try to have at least one bottle of this on hand at all times. My hair is usually pretty good, but every now and then I need a little extra conditioning. I like this one because it doesn’t weigh my hair down, and allows me to comb through it easily.

Shampoo + Conditioner  (Perfectly Gentle) – You all know I am obsessed with the Honest Company shampoo & conditioner, so I don’t need to tell you that again. This is the only shampoo I use, and I have been very happy with the new formula. Last month I tried the Apricot Kiss scent (which I really love) and now I am trying the Sweet Orange Vanilla scent. My hair responds very well to this shampoo and conditioner; I would definitely recommend it.

Thoughts: As per usual I am very happy with my Honest Company order. This will be my first time trying the new scent Sweet Orange Vanilla, and I already know I am going to love it. Some of you were asking me about the Apricot Kiss scent, as there has been mixed reviews on it, apparently some people aren’t happy with the smell, but I actually really like it. I think I am going to like the Vanilla scent better, but the Apricot is still really nice. I still need to try the Dreamy Lavender and will probably order that next month.
