I am SO excited about today’s review because Hushbug Book Box is brand stinkin’ new! This is their very first box, and for a first box they have done an amazing job! I am already in love with this subscription for a few reasons….

• they are based in Canada
• it’s a book subscription (I LOVE books)
• they feature a newly release rom com (a new favorite genre of mine)
• their logo, marketing, packaging, etc….. is SO cute

Here’s a closer look at what we received in the February Hushbug Book Box….

Product Card

I don’t often talk about product cards but I feel like it’s something I should start including in my reviews, so here we go. I love the simplicity of this one, and I very much appreciate the fact that it is printed on card stock. I love that they have included the month/year and that the book is listed at the top in bold letters. The only thing I would like to maybe see on future cards is a very short description of how the products tie in to the book.

How CUTE is this book and how good does the storyline sound! This is 100% the next book on my TBR list. USA Today says “This is a novel you’ll want to read over and over again” and that’s exactly what I need right now.  One reviewer referred to it as heartwarming and humorous, and another reviewer said that it pulled her in right away. I can’t wait to start reading it!

Green Tea Lavender Brittle

Sweetsmith Candy Co. is a company I am very familiar with. They have the most amazing flavours of brittle and toffee…..and they even have vegan options! I found a little more info on this flavour specifically….

Heart Pillar Candle

One of the things I love about subscription boxes is discovering new brands that I never would have found on my own. Take this one for example…..after opening this adorable little candle (it’s a little bit bigger than a tea light) I immediately went to the Kiki Candles Instagram page and got lost in their cute creations. They specialize in creative, funky and playful candles. They do all different shapes, colors, etc…..

This one smells amazing BTW. It is peach & cream scented.

Bless Your Heart Coasters

I am ALL about floral prints right now because I am SO ready for Winter to be over. I want Spring, sun, flowers, pastel colors…..all the things. So these coasters are making me happy. They don’t necessarily fit my decor scheme but I will use them regardless.

Knotted Stud Earrings

How cute are these little knotted earrings?! This is another Canadian brand that I will be checking out. I am so curious to see what else they have in their product line. But for now, I will enjoy the pretty lavender color of these studs.

Ocean Spray Body Scrub

Next up we have a foaming salt scrub. The packaging grabbed my attention right away because it is SO cute! I also love that their products are vegan and cruelty-free. Here’s what it says on the back of the package….

“Jump into the shower, open me and inhale the scent of the ocean. Spend time rubbing me all over your body, pay attention to your scaly bits. Reveal your inner mermaid with soft glowing scented skin.”

Wild Riders Trinket Tray

Oh my goodness…..do you not just LOVE this trinket tray?! So cute and so fun! I will put this on my bedside table and use it for my jewelry. It will put a smile on my face every night when I take off my earrings and rings.

Lip Butter

And lastly we have a Blue Raspberry lip balm from Northern D’Lights. I am ALWAYS happy to receive lip balm because it’s something I use 2-3 times every day.

Hushbug Book Box Review February 2022 – Final Thoughts

And there you have it! The February Hushbug Book Box! For this being their very first box I am beyond impressed! The entire box, from beginning to end, gives me happy vibes. It’s cute, it’s pretty, it features some wonderful Canadian brands, and I am VERY excited to read the book. I am absolutely thrilled to have discovered a new Canadian Book Box and can’t wait to see more from them!
