JoahBox is a beauty subscription delivering 5-7 full size Korean beauty products to your doorstep each month. You’ll see a mixture of popular brands, as well as new/indie beauty brands that are harder to get your hands on in the US. JoahBox kindly sent me their September box to review.

Here’s a closer look at the items I received for the month of September…

Included in every box is a mini pamphlet detailing all of the products featured each month. You’ll get in-depth descriptions and instructions (in English, of course)!

A.True Origin Moist Relief Cream – $33

The “big ticket” item this month was the A.True Origin Moist Relief Cream, which retails for $33! That’s basically the cost of the entire box! Not only is the value great, but A.True is a high-quality natural Korean skincare brand that I’ve known and loved for years. This moisturizing cream contains a “cica-recovery complex” that’s extracted from asiatic pennywort, Eosungcho, and chia seeds. It also contains a plethora of other skin-moisturizing ingredients like olive oil, squalene, and hyaluronic acid. If you want a lightweight and moisturizing facial cream, then this is perfect for you!

I’m Sorry For My Skin Whitening Comma Mask – $2

The term “whitening” is used synonymously with “brightening” in Korea, and this sheet mask does just that! It contains only 10 ingredients to minimize skin irritation, with several ingredients being niacinamide and glutathione. This sheet mask fit comfortably on the skin and left my skin bright and glowing.

Sally’s Box Friendly Collagen Eyepatch – $3

The Sally’s Box Friendly Collagen Eyepatch is a pair of clear hydrogel patches made to plump and smooth. These are great for moisturizing the under-eye area and temporarily minimizing fine lines.

W.Lab Moist Fit Strobing Cream OR Sebum Out Cleansing Stick – $18

Subscribers will receive either the Moist Fit Strobing Cream OR the Sebum Out Cleansing Stick. I received the strobing cream, which I’m very happy about since I prefer makeup items. This moisturizing makeup primer contains pearl extracts and a subtle peach tint. It doesn’t help prolong the wear of my makeup, but it does make my skin look more bright and luminous.

Etude House Satin Fit Eyeshadow in BE102 Creamy Ale – $5.5

Every subscriber will receive the Etude House Satin Fit Eyeshadow in BE102 Creamy Ale, a universally flattering champagne hue. The texture is a smooth satin that blends effortlessly onto the lids. I like to wear this all over my entire lid for a subtle pop that brightens up my eyes.

JoahBox Review September 2019 – Final Thoughts

I have nothing but praises for JoahBox this month! September is hands-down one of their best boxes yet, and I’ve already incorporated every item into my daily routine! The total value this month is $61.50, which is almost double the price of the box. My favorite items this month is the A.True Origin Moist Relief Cream, W.Lab Moist Fit Strobing Cream, and the Etude House Satin Fit Eyeshadow!
