Journal Junk Box Review July 2024

What do you like to do for self-care? Is it a quiet moment with a cup of tea, a long walk, or maybe a little creative escape? For me, there’s nothing quite like putting pen to paper, letting my thoughts flow, and indulging in some much needed me time. As a creative, I was really excited about unboxing my first Journal Junk Box. It’s the perfect way to combine creativity as an expression of self-care, offering a charming blend of beautiful journals and thoughtful self-care goodies.

Unboxing the July 2024 Journal Junk Box

The pretty pink box felt like stepping into Paris and I LOVED the “hey journal babe” sticker on the inside! So cute. Already it’s winning my heart with the packaging.

On top are the Journal Prompts that they included – they include journal prompts in each box and they’re broken down by week. For example, week 1 is “what are you three things that bring color and joy to your life right now?” and week 2 is, “Describe a recent experience that made you feel vibrant and full of energy.” I can really imagine how following these inspired journal prompts can really be reflective and rejuvenating.  I’m actually really excited to use them!

Let’s have a closer look inside the July 2024 Journal Junk Box…

Sweet Strawberry Pen Set ($10.99): Immediately yes, these are so adorable! A set of 6 strawberry-styled pens that write in a crisp black ink. All my pen people out there, if you know you know, this point is on point. I also love the clickable retractor. Such a fun start!

Be Happy Magnet Set by Col House ($8.99): These lemon magnets are so sweet. With a bright, zesty reminder to “be happy” and “here comes the sun” – the lemon lover in me is seeing all the heart eyes right now.

Keep it Zesty Sticker Pack ($8.99): These are custom made by Journal Junk and there are TONS of stickers in here! I actually can’t believe how big this sticker pack is. Lots of bright lemon trees, strawberries, tea sets, grapes, and inspirational messages to use throughout my journal or planner.  I can’t wait to use these.

“Oh, So Juicy” Washi Tape Set ($8.99): Two jumbo sized rolls of fruit and picnic inspired washi tape. These patterns are darling. I’ve never seen wide washi tape like this before, so this is a cool treat. On the back of the product card, there are also instructions on how to use the washi tape as a journal page marker. Such a great idea to include something like this because now I’m inspired to use my washi tape in new ways.

Citrus and Sweet Recipe Card Set ($10.99): This is so cool and something I actually really need but probably would have never thought to buy on my own. These recipe cards fit the summery lemon and fruit theme beautifully, but they’re also perfect for storing favorite recipes in a beautiful way. I spend a lot of time with my 90 year old grandmother and she has some of the most amazing recipes….all in her head! So you bet I’ll be bringing these cards to her house to capture her legacy right here.

Weekly Eats Portable List Pad by Elum Designs ($12.99): A hard cover list pad?! Genius! Of course, I love the pattern on the outside, but I also love the rose gold “buy that” titled pads on the inside. So practical, so pretty.

Stay Vibrant Journal ($16.99): An on theme reminder to Stay Vibrant and Full of Life with a lined, spiral bound journal. Such a cute pattern and I love that it’s spiral bound so it can lay flat. It’s the little things, ya know?

Fruitful Delights Paper Pack ($9.99): These are so fun! it’s a pack of six different paper patterns that you can use to decorate and bring your journal to life! All the prints are so unique, but yet they pair together perfectly – especially for this theme.

Journal Junk Box Review July 2024 – Final Thoughts

The Journal Junk Box was an absolute joy to unbox. Each item felt thoughtfully chosen to not only match the vibrant, fruity theme but also to inspire creativity and self-care in a really neat way. From the adorable strawberry pen set to the Stay Vibrant Journal, every piece had its own charm, making this box a perfect blend of fun and functionality.

What I love most about Journal Junk Box is how it encourages you to take time for yourself—whether it’s through journaling, planning your week, or simply enjoying the sweet little extras like the washi tape and recipe cards. It’s a gentle reminder that self-care doesn’t have to be elaborate; sometimes, it’s as simple as sitting down with a new pen and a fresh page, to capture your thoughts or plan your next big idea.

If you’re looking for a subscription that brings a little spark of creativity and joy into your life each month, the Journal Junk Box is definitely worth considering. It’s more than just a box of goodies—it’s a little slice of happiness delivered right to your door, encouraging you to slow down, reflect, and take care of yourself in a very simple way.
