Each Laurel & Reed subscription box will ship on the 15th – 20th of the month, or immediately when you order if current box is still available. Shipping costs are as follows: $6.95 Shipping to US, $14.95 shipping to Canada, or $23.95 for international shipping. Here’s a look at what’s in the box:

LEPAAR Yuzu Vitamin C Serum ($48)

“An antioxidant powerhouse serum, composed with sun-infused extracts of wildcrafted Yuzu grown on our Kangaroo Valley property and organic fruit left over from our friend’s harvest this year. Yuzu softens even the driest of skin, activates collagen production, restores elasticity and stimulates cell turnover. How to use: Best to use at night time, or mornings under face oil, cream and/or sunscreen. Massage 1 or 2 drops into damp and warm skin after cleansing. This is a concentrate, so we recommend using this once or twice a week, alone, or blended with PRECIOUS FACE ELIXIR during day time.”

I have been wanting to incorporate a vitamin C serum in my skincare routine, but just hadn’t gotten around to getting one so this is a welcome surprise! This one sounds extra special with the sun infused yuzu, making it so nourishing for skin. With winter on the horizon, this sounds like it will be the perfect skin treat to combat any cold weather dullness.

LEPAAR Golden Age Honey Mask ($70)

“A luxurious mask with enzymatic exfoliating action, composed of nutrient dense wild Blue Mountains honey and sun-infused botanical whole plant extracts. Rejuvenates and illuminates tired faces, reduces lines, minimizes pores, smooths cracks + lines, combats acne, evens complexion and reverses UV-damage. Reveal pure, moisturized, luminous skin. How to use: Douse your face with a little water, or hydrosol. Massage a hazelnut-size amount all over your face, adding more hydrosol (or water) if it is too sticky, you don’t want it to ‘pull’ your skin as you apply. A small amount goes a long way (Rub your hands with the honey after for the softest hands). Leave on for 15-30 minutes, take off which warm water. The mask will not dry, and remain sticky until washed off.”

Well this is just divine! It truly looks so luxurious with the golden color and gold flecks throughout. I really love face masks and this is one of the most intriguing ones I’ve received recently. Honey is one of my favorite skincare ingredients, making this even more interesting to try out. Honey definitely agrees well with my skin, so I’m thinking my skin is really going to love this one. I’m looking forward to see if it keeps my inflammation at bay and am curious to see it’s illumination effects.

LEPAAR Precious Face Elixir ($70)

This sounds like a lovely serum that can really keep skin feeling healthy and nourished. It sounds like a great pairing for the vitamin c serum too. I think the two of these products will definitely keep winter skin happy. I like how this one is suited for all skin types and is multi-functional in that it seems to tackle all kinds of skin issues. They say it “bestows radiant glow and abundant vitality, stimulates cell renewal, boosts elasticity, halts collagen depletion, moisturises at cellular level, firms and tones, balances hormonal breakouts, fades pigmentation, and offers rockstar antioxidant protection.” How could this not be an awesome product for skin?! Can’t wait to try it out!

Final Thoughts

What a beautiful skincare brand! I’d never heard of it before being introduced through Laurel & Reed. It’s so luxurious looking and I’m loving the products they chose to showcase. Each is wonderful in it’s own right, but I think I’m most excited about the honey mask. Maybe because it’s the only one I’ve opened so far and got immediately intrigued by it’s beautiful texture and color and of course the sparkly gold flecks. I’m also really fascinated by the inclusion of their signature trio of gold, frankincense and myrrh in each product they offer. They say this “trinity is integral to our compositions and when combined, they synergise to support physical and spiritual well being, activate ‘qi’ movement – our life force – and help us live (and age) gracefully.” I’m really excited to try these and see how they affect my skin. And what a fancy present to me these make for the holiday season. They timed the delivery of this trio perfectly for an end of the year skin treat!
