LD Accessory Box Review August 2019
The LD Accessory Box by Luxury Divas won Best Women’s Fashion box in the US and for good reason! This has become a favorite box for many and keeps getting better and better. Luxury Divas is an online boutique that launched their own subscription box and it’s been a hit.
LD Accessory Box is $30 a month free shipping when you subscribe or $35 for a one time purchase.
Each month, a stylist curates a box filled with accessories, some makeup, some clothing and all fitting to your profile and preferences. When you sign up you fill out a profile detailing your sizes, favorite colors, likes and dislikes and I have yet to be disappointed with something that came in my LD Accessory Box.
My curator went from Nikki to Marina, and both have been on point with their choices for me. Even when there was a color that I neither loved or hated per se, the item that they included in that color became an all time favorite. Like a powder blue summer dress I wear all the time or the blue t-shirt they included this month.
The box always comes packaged impeccably. There’s a sheet detailing the items received with photos and retail prices, a handwritten note by the curator and a two leaf magazine called the LD Insider with some season trends and news.
Let’s get into August’s box. The theme was “Kick back and chill” and the retail value of my box $111.
We usually get a yummy treat like candy, a lollipop and this month I received 2 packs of yummy popcorn. What better snack to Netflix and chill?
Pink Distressed Ponytail Hat
Right on top there was this cute baseball hat that I received in pink,. It has an extra opening at the top for you to fit your ponytail! I’ve never heard of hats that had this and I think it’s a super cool feature so that you dont have to lower your ponytail. Perfect for the “messy hair don’t care” days. This retails for $20 and it’s available in pink, gray, red, black and blue.
Retro Polarized Sunglasses with Soft Case
I believe this is my third pair of sunglasses I’ve received by them and I am always happy to get some. I go through them so easily, I either lose them, misplace them or scratch them so I love getting a new pair once in a while. In the past, we’ve received hard cases so I have 2, I don’t need another one. But they included a soft case to protect the lenses. This cool pair retails for $20 and it’s available in several colors. I’ve seen subscribers get it in brown and black frame.
Peach Oxygen Bubble Facial Mask
We usually receive a skin care or makeup item each month and this time we got a set of 2 face masks. They retail for $5 and it goes perfect with the theme of kicking back and chilling.
Jewelry Item: Earrings
Every month we receive a piece of jewelry. This month I am so excited to get this pair of oblong textured sterling silver earrings. They’re like tea drop hoops, hammered texture and sterling silver….. Yes, please!
They retail for $23. Each subscriber might have gotten a different earring style.
This is what I was talking about when I mentioned the blue. I am not a hater of blue but it’s not a color I pick up for myself. However, I am in love with this short sleeve pocket tee. It’s navy blue on the front, striped with different colors on the pocket and the back and its extremely soft. I couldn’t have asked for a cuter t-shirt! This is great to dress up or down, to wear with leggings or skinny jeans and the silver earrings. Retails for $23.
These black full length leggings tie in the whole theme perfectly. So timely for the end of summer, for the nights when it gets cooler and for the beginning of fall to cuddle up with a book, go run errands with our ponytail hat and just kick back. They retail for $20 and they’re available in gray, charcoal gray, and black.
LD Accessory Box August 2019 – Final Thoughts
What can I say? Another amazing LD Accessory Box, for $30 you pretty much get a full outfit. You’d never be able to go to a store and get these 6 items for that price. Brand new items, curated and selected for you and amazing quality. This is the fashion box to get.
