LD Accessory Box Review May 2019
You’ve probably heard me and a bunch of other ladies say that LD Accessory Box is THE subscription box to have. It beats a lot of subs out there by price, quantity of products and quality of products.
If you weren’t convinced until now, May’s box will make you subscribe!
The box is only $30-35 with free shipping, total price varies depending on the amount of months you subscribe to. The longer the period the lower your monthly total cost will be.
I received my first box in February and was blown out of the water. March and April did the same to me, from scarves, makeup, jewelry, they have covered every corner and just when you thought they gave it all: they curated this box for me.
This month I received six items, totaling in value $140.
The box, as usual, is black and sleek. Inside it’s wrapped in LD tissue paper. There’s always a handwritten letter from the curator, and mine is still Nikki. That is a really nice personal touch, besides the fact that the items that can be customized to your tastes, will be, like color, type of jewelry, and of course, size.
We also get a little magazine with some news from the LD Accessory Box shop and a letter from Deborah, the owner. And there’s a sheet detailing all the items we each received with a brief description and retail values.
Right on top of my box I saw a pair of tear drop rose gold earrings. I had seen one of my favorite YouTubers get this in her box and I really wished I’d get them too! These are stunning and they’re perfect for any occasion. “Detailed filigree cut-out highlight delicate floral and leaf details that are sure to be noticed”. They retail for $16 and are available in rose gold and yellow gold.
Here’s me wearing them.
Sunglasses and Case
I also received my second pair of sunglasses and I am so grateful they included these, because I loved my first pair that came in February’s box. The case is top-notch, high quality and I really needed another pair because I tend to break sunglasses like it’s my job. I step on them, sit on them or lose them!
Here’s me wearing these, I love them! They come in brown and black and retail for $20.
Packed in a satin sachet bag came this shiny purple crystal glass beaded charm bracelet. It’s available in purple and teal, and I did say both were some of my favorite colors so either one would have been a hit! I love the purple option! Retails for $25 and in the product sheet we get a tip: use the safety chain for easy on and off when putting on the bracelet with one hand. Keep stones radiant by storing them in the satin bag.
We have received a neutral color stretchy belt in the past but this is a different kind! This belt is a multi strand Celtic Chain Belt that shines like the sun! Comes in gold or silver, I received the silver and it’s stunning! “Instantly enhance a simple skirt, dress or blouse by adding your new chain belt around your waist or midriff”. Retails for $19.
Just when you thought they couldn’t do any better, they added this pair of Ipanema Peacock flip flops in pink and turquoise.
They are absolutely stunning and let me tell you, they’re very similar in quality, if not the same, as Havaianas . I’ve owned a pair of Havaianas from Hawaii (I don’t even know where they are now) and I’ve own cheap flip flops and you can totally notice the difference. The Ipanema flip flops are thick and sturdy and super comfortable. I would spend a day at Disneyland in them. They retail for $25.
Yup, you read it right. I received a Maxi dress this month! Not only is it a beatiful indigo color that I must admit I wouldn’t pick for myself, but it fits me perfectly! The color, like I said, wouldn’t be my choice but I love it nonetheless and I appreciate my curator Nikki giving me options out of my favorite 3 colors because this dress goes great with my skin color, if I may say so myself. The dress comes in this color only for this model and it retails for $35. That’s the whole value of the box right there!
Super cute and perfect for summer! Goes great with the cardigan I received last month too!
Here’s everything in the box, retailing in total $140.
I am completely stoked with this month’s LD Accessory Box, but honestly I have been since my first box. I think it’s hard to beat the price, the items and the quality. What did you think?
