Lillypost Review February 2021

Lillypost is a monthly book subscription box that sends children’s books to your door! Each month, tiny fingers will discover carefully curated books, a note, and stickers for fun! They kindly sent us this box for review.

I truly look forward to our monthly Lillypost deliveries because reading is something Steven and I enjoy together each night before I put him to bed. I can’t even tell you how happy it makes me to see the smile on his face when we sit down in our reading chair and I put a book in front of him. It is the CUTEST! The joy he gets from reading books makes our Lillypost subscription so much more valuable than I thought it would be.

Subscription Details

Lillypost was founded on the idea that reading is fundamental to the development of every child. The love of books and learning starts early in life and what better way to ignite that love, than a child receiving an entirely new set of books every month? Discover books for the special little one in your life from newborn to 7 years old at up to 70% off retail price!

What You Get: Each box includes 4 board books or 3 picture books (or a mix of both!) to engage and entertain.

Lillypost Gives Back – For every box that is purchased, Lillypost will donate one book to a child in need through various charities.

Here’s a peek at the books I received in the Lillypost Board Book Box for February…

The Itsy Bitsy Leprechaun

The itsy bitsy leprechaun is ready for a St. Patrick’s Day adventure as he searches for a lucky four-leaf clover. Little ones will love this magical twist on the classic nursery rhyme “The Itsy Bitsy Spider”.

I was really happy to see this adorable Leprechaun book in our box this month because I am currently working on Steven’s March book nook. I like to switch up his books each month and seasonal books are a great way to do that.

Under The Sleepy Moon

All of the forest animals are heading home to bed as a silvery moon watches over them. This adorable book uses shaped pages to build a wonderful bedtime scene.

I like this book for two reasons – the shaped pages will be fun for Steven to turn, and bedtime books are perfect for our night routine.

Peek-a-Boo Treetop Friends

Stroke my tummy and squawk with me! Up in the treetops, who will we see? Peep through the holes and guess who’s hiding, with tactile touch and feels on every page.

You had me at sloth! Steven’s room is decorated with sloths so this will probably end up being my favorite book out of the four. I also love that it teaches us about tree animals. Cute, and fun and educational!

Quack A Duck’s Tale

Waddle along and count to eleven with this silly story about one little duck who goes on one big adventure.

This book has the CUTEST illustrations and that alone makes me love it. I also love the size of the book as most of the books we have in our collection are smaller than this.

Lillypost Review February 2021 – Final Thoughts

As I mentioned earlier, I find so much value in our Lillypost subscription. It’s a box that both Steven and I enjoy, and I love that we get to enjoy it together. I am going to soak up all the quiet moments we have in our reading chair as they aren’t going to last forever.

Lillypost is such a lovely subscription, the price point is reasonable, and it provides me with precious memories, as well as a few much-needed quiet moments each night before bed. I can’t recommend this subscription enough!
