Lillypost is a monthly book subscription box that sends children’s books to your door! Each month, tiny fingers will discover carefully curated books, a note, and stickers for fun! They kindly sent us this box for review.
We are experiencing a crazy heat wave here in Kelowna so Steven and I have been spending a lot of time indoors. In fact, today it’s supposed to be so insanely hot that I’m treating it like a snow day – we are staying in our PJ’s and hiding inside ALL day. Therefore, we will get a lot of use out of our June Lillypost delivery as we will be spending the next few days playing, watching movies, and reading.

This is such a great book! I’ve always wanted to learn all the names for groups of animals and now Steven and I can learn together. It also has some really fun touch and feel textures, which Steven is going to LOVE!
A is for Apple
Introduce your child to letters and first words with this innovative trace-and-flip book. Using their finger, children can trace each grooved letter to explore its shape. Colorful lift-the-flaps add to the fun.
Steven hasn’t totally mastered the finger trace books yet, but he is going to love lifting the flaps. And….this will be a great one to read when it’s time to learn the alphabet.
Five Big Trucks
Vroom-vroom! It’s time to pop out and play with the five big trucks in this book. Draw around the vehicle shapes, use them as flashcards, or play with them to bring story time to life.
Oh my….this book couldn’t be more perfect. Steven is SO in to trucks right now and the fact that we can pop out the shapes and he can play with them is that much better!
When Your Llama Needs a Haircut
Does your Llama need a haircut? When your llama needs a haircut, you’ll first need to pick the perfect style.
This is so fun!! We have another book in this series and I LOVE matching books. The other one we have is “When Your Lion Needs a Bath” and it’s one of my faves. The story is cute and the illustrations are fun!
Lillypost Review June 2021 – Final Thoughts
I am absolutely loving our June Lillypost box, and the fact that it arrived during a heat wave when we are spending more time indoors is pretty darn perfect. They put together the perfect selection of books for us this month, but I am most excited about the truck book because I know Steven is going to go crazy for it. Another month and another amazing box from Lillypost!
