Lillypost Review May 2021

Lillypost is a monthly book subscription box that sends children’s books to your door! Each month, tiny fingers will discover carefully curated books, a note, and stickers for fun! They kindly sent us this box for review.

It’s official, I can no longer get away with reading Steven the same book night after night. He has become very involved with our nightly book choice and has no problem telling me, or in his case, showing me, which book he wants to read. So…..needless to say, My Lillypost subscription has become even more valuable as of late because we are going through books like crazy.

Subscription Details

Lillypost was founded on the idea that reading is fundamental to the development of every child. The love of books and learning starts early in life and what better way to ignite that love, than a child receiving an entirely new set of books every month? Discover books for the special little one in your life from newborn to 7 years old at up to 70% off retail price!

What You Get: Each box includes 4 board books or 3 picture books (or a mix of both!) to engage and entertain.

Lillypost Gives Back – For every box that is purchased, Lillypost will donate one book to a child in need through various charities.

Here’s a peek at the books I received in the Lillypost Board Book Box for May…

Noisy Jungle

Each page has a push-tab with a pull-tab hidden inside! Push and pull to see what our funny animal friends are up to. It’s an engaging introduction to jungle life.

I already know that Steven is going to LOVE this book. Right now his favorite books are the ones that have moving part – lifts, flaps, push-tabs, etc…..

Hug Machine

Here comes the hug machine. Whether you are big or small, or square or long, or spiky or soft. No one can resist his unbelievable hugs.

Awe…..this one will definitely end up being Mom’s favorite. I am always asking Steven to
“hug his mother” and I also tell him to hug his bear stuffy. It’s SO stinkin’ cute, I just can’t help myself. So this adorable little Hug Machine book is speaking to my heart.

Dragons Are Real

Moonlight and courage and sparks, that’s what dragons are made of. Take a peek into their secret magical world.

I haven’t really introduced Steven to dragons yet so it will be fun to read this one to him and see what his reaction is.

Stack the Cats

One cat sleeps. Two cats play. Three cats stack.

OH MY! This book is amazing! Lol! The illustrations are perfection and the simplicity is wonderful. And…..it makes me laugh:)

Lillypost Review May 2021 – Final Thoughts

I feel like a broken record saying this but, I can’t recommend Lillypost enough. Steven absolutely loves books, and I absolutely love reading to him. He will often crawl over to his book shelf, pull out all the books and just sit on the ground flipping through them. I’ve also realized that since he is now wanting more variety when it comes to our nightly reading session, Lillypost really is the perfect subscription for us. It’s a box I love to receive in the mail and it’s one that Steven and I can enjoy together for a number of years to come.
