Lillypost Review September 2020

Lillypost is a monthly book subscription box that sends children’s books to your door! Each month, tiny fingers will discover carefully curated books, a note, and stickers for fun! They kindly sent us this box for review.

With each passing month Steven’s love for books grows and with each passing month my love for Lillypost grows.

I love that I started reading to Steven at such a young age. I’ve even had the odd person say “wow, you are reading to him already?”. Yes I am! We started reading a few months ago and even though he didn’t quite grasp the idea back then, I see that already at 7 months old he is looking forward to our reading time.

Subscription Details

Lillypost was founded on the idea that reading is fundamental to the development of every child. The love of books and learning starts early in life and what better way to ignite that love, than a child receiving an entirely new set of books every month? Discover books for the special little one in your life from newborn to 7 years old at up to 70% off retail price!

What You Get: Each box includes 4 board books or 3 picture books (or a mix of both!) to engage and entertain.

Lillypost Gives Back – For every box that is purchased, Lillypost will donate one book to a child in need through various charities.

Here’s a peek at the books I received in the Lillypost Board Book Box for September…

I Love You Night and Day

I love you night, I love you day, in every moment, come what may.

Such a wonderful message for your little one. I make sure I tell Steven every day how much I love him and will continue to do so from here on out. And can we just talk about how adorable the little bear and bunny are?! So stinkin’ cute!

Hello Dinosaurs

Join a herd of dinosaurs waiting for eggs to hatch in this action-packed next-step-concept book about comparisons.

We don’t have any dinosaur books yet so I was happy to see this in the box. There’s even a flap that opens up on the last page and shows all the different dinosaurs and what their names are. Such a great learning opportunity.

Bear Picks a Pumpkin

Here’s another pumpkin, Bear! It’s perfect, don’t you say? It’s round and smooth and not too big – just right for you! Hooray!

Awe, this makes me so happy. I was hoping for a fall and/or Halloween themed book and here it is. It follows little bear though the pumpkin patch as he checks out all the different pumpkins.

Hide and Seek Under the Sea

It’s underwater hide-and-seek! Can you find the animals hiding in the sea?

This is the cutest little hide and seek book, complete with felt flaps for your little one to peek behind. It will also teach your babe about all the different sea animals.

Lillypost Review September 2020 – Final Thoughts

I’ve said it before and I will say it again, Lillypost is a must-have subscription in our house and it will be for years to come. They have options for newborns up to age 7 which makes me so darn happy. We have a couple more years with the board books, then we can switch to the mixed subscription (board and picture books) and then we can switch to the picture book option. I should also point out that this would make an amazing gift……I have a few friends/family members in mind who would love a Lillypost subscription for their little one.
