Loti Wellness Box Review June 2020

Loti Wellness Box is a Canadian subscription box that offers practical skills and products to reduce stress and anxiety and improve your overall wellbeing. You will find in your box 5 to 8 quality wellness and lifestyle products to remind you to take the time for self-care, physically and mentally. Coming along, there is a workbook filled with therapeutic activities and guided materials related to the month’s theme.

Depending on your preference, you can receive a box every month or bi-monthly. They recently dropped the price to be even more accessible in these hard times. It was $54.95+shipping and it is now $49.95 + $5.99 for shipping (in Canadian dollars). Every box has a retail value of approximately $85 ($100 this month!!), so it is totally worth it.

I love the look of Loti Wellness Box. The blue is calming and the message on it is inspiring. We can see it a little bit everywhere we find the logo: “Be Kind, Be Bold, Be Glad, Live Loti”. The personalized sticker to close the box makes it special too. The drawings on it are super cute and match the concept perfectly.

This month’s Loti Wellness Box theme is “Resilience”. I received a workbook related to the theme and 6 items. As we are facing a lot of uncertainty and are adapting to a different lifestyle, resilience is key. I am happy to learn more about it. Loti Wellness Box kindly sent me this box for review and I am pleased to share my thoughts on the carefully chosen items and activities I received.

Radiant Rose Clay Mask from Naturally Vain

“Formulated with a mineral-rich blend of mango extract […]. It is often used in formulations to help prevent the appearance of fine lines and the drying of the skin. The French red clay will cleanse and slough off dead skin cells from the surface of the skin, leaving it refreshed and toned with a rejuvenated look.”

This rose clay mask is the perfect mix for me. The special formulation to prevent fine lines and drying skin is exactly what I need. Also, the French red clay works wonders and is gentle on all skin types. I also just discovered Naturally Vain and I am now tempted to try many other products from their store as they have lots of amazing other vegan, natural and hand crafted products. It is also a family business in Canada and more than ever, I am trying to buy items made in my country.

Essential Balm Miracle Oil and Crème de la Crème Duo from CÉLA

I have tried an exfoliant from CÉLA before and loved it. I am very happy to have the opportunity to try these two products and just from the description, I am already a fan. First, love the French name “la crème de la crème”. One would not name their cream like that if it was not the best. Here is more info about the cream:

“Infused with our signature Céla Complex, a potent blend of Canadian botanicals selected for their unparalleled bioactive benefits, Crème de la Crème cocoons the body in richly hydrating Amazonian cupuaçu butter, while Abyssinian oil seals in moisture and imparts velvety softness.”

Perfect to keep your whole body hydrated and especially those special spots like the knees, elbows and heels. The Essential Balm Miracle Oil is also here to help with those dry spots:

“This multitasking ointment changes state from solid to liquid with body heat, providing all of the concentrated benefits of pure botanical oils and extracts with the convenience and portability of a balm.”

Once warmed in your hand, you can apply it to all those parts that need it the most. Since it is an oil, you can also use it for a massage and even as a mask in your hair. Both products also have a wonderful smell from the essential oils in it. Once you have applied your cream or balm, it is relaxation time to let the skin absorb and benefit from the relaxing scents. On a personal note, I tried the balm on a particularly dry spot and in one small application, it did wonders!

Enhanced Collagen Supplement from SPROOS

“Sproos™ Up Your Gut with our synergistic combination of collagen and other active ingredients, designed to work meaningfully from within to enhance your gut health. Add Sproos to water for a refreshing daily beverage and your gut will love you!”

Collagen is an important protein that your body naturally creates, but a little boost might be what you need. I used collagen supplements for some time and the pain I had in my joints from intense training went away after a week. It is also good for your hair, your skin and your nails.

Sproos has a variety of products that mixes collagen and other natural ingredients and I received a sachet of Sproos Up Your Gut, that also gives a little boost to your digestion. It is made of “6 active ingredients (grass-fed bovine collagen, organic inulin, L-glutamine, organic ginger, quercetin and organic aloe vera gel) designed to work from within to help defend, soothe and heal the gut.” I will give it a try and add it to my morning chlorophyll beverage.

Refresh Eucalyptus+Mint Toning Mist from NIU BODY

NIU BODY being a new favourite of mine, I am very happy to find another product from their line. I received the cleansing oil last month and liked it a lot. NIU BODY offers a 3 steps routine tailored to your needs. Cleansing is the first step, then the serum and the mist is the final step. The toning mist smells amazing and it is also refreshing. Perfect choice since summer started earlier this year. I smell mostly the eucalyptus and it is such a relaxing scent. I will use it in my morning and night routine for sure.

Healthy, Happy You – 365 Daily Micro-Actions for Lasting Change

“Do you want to improve your health, live and love more mindfully, and increase your happiness? This book makes it easy with 365 micro-actions – fun, achievable goals you can tackle right now. Take it on the go or keep it on your nightstand; do one action everyday or dip in and out.”

Totally love this kind of book that lasts and brings good in your life daily. The authors wrote 365 micro-actions divided in four areas:

  • Food: Healthy ideas for a healthier you;
  • Mind: Mindfulness activities to bring joy and peace;
  • Move: Activities you can do without necessarily put on you gym attire;
  • Love: Ways to get closer and keep in touch with your loved ones.

Now I feel like challenging myself to take two minutes a day to do a positive micro-action for a year. This looks like so much fun and such a good way to maintain a happy and healthy lifestyle.

Activity: Resilience Workbook from Loti Wellness

In this month’s workbook, we get to learn more about what resilience is and how to cope with challenging times as we are presently living. We also find an exercise to analyse your protective factors and then push the reflection based on your answers. There are also recommended tools to improve your resilience and one that I particularly like are the suggested affirmations to stay connected to the present, be more positive and more resilient.

Loti Wellness Box June 2020 Review – Final Thoughts

The June Loti Wellness Box was mind opening like the previous boxes. I love all the information found in the workbook and how the exercises are making me realise so many things. I consider myself a resilient person, but I found that my anxiety has been rising in the past months and I realise that if I was more resilient, life would flow more easily. The book Healthy, Happy You is a great idea to help you on the road of resilience by learning slowly everyday how to live more mindfully and focus on the present.

The choice of self-care products was also on point. I appreciated that the products are all coming from Canadian companies and that they only use natural ingredients. The sachet of collagen might not be enough to see results, but I think it makes a good introduction to the collagen supplement. You cannot go wrong with Loti Wellness Box. Great value, amazing products and lots of personnel work. I cannot get enough!
