Love With Food is probably one of the best snack boxes on the market. I was so darn excited when I found out they were shipping to Canada, and I have been obsessed ever since. I think their boxes are reasonably priced, and they contain the perfect amount of snacks. I also really like the mixture of treats vs healthy snacks. Sometimes a girl needs some chocolate, or chips in her life, no matter how much she tries to stick to a healthy eating plan. There are some problems in life that can only be fixed with chocolate.
Then there are the healthy snacks, I save these for emergencies and road trips. Do you know how nice it is to have a bag full of individually portioned snacks for road trips? It’s awesome! I’ve mentioned this many times before.
Here’s a look at the items we received in the February box:
Aloha Daily Good Greens, Emmy’s Organics Cookies, Honey Stinger Waffle Chocolate
Out of this bunch I am most excited about the Aloha Greens. I’ve been wanting to try this whole-food powder for quite some time. I kind of wish we received a couple of packages.
Dave’s Sweet Tooth Peanut Butter Crunch
Peanut butter. Toffee. Enough said…One bite of Dave’s peanut butter crunch toffee is sure to make any peanut butter enthusiast weak in the knees. Milk chocolate, peanut butter chips, almonds, and of course, the rich, buttery toffee that has made our product renowned through the midwest. It’s not the worst thing you will try today.
Umm…how good does this sound! I am slightly addicted to peanut butter. I actually stopped buying it for a little while because I would eat it all day, every day. The combination of peanut butter, chocolate, and toffee sounds deadly. I am going to save this for when I really need a treat.
Door County Potato Chips
I love plain ol’ kettle chips. I like the simplicity of them. I don’t want a bunch of crazy flavours mixed together. This is exactly what I like to see in snack boxes.
Cream Filled Wafers
These little wafers are pretty darn awesome. If you have them with your coffee in the morning they are ten times better. Not that I usually eat cookie type items with my coffee. But, sometimes you need to.
Fiber Gourmet Thinables Cinnamon Swirl
I don’t eat snacks like this very often, but I like to have them on hand when sweet cravings hit. Mind you, they won’t be as satisfying as a big ol’ hunk of chocolate, but if you are really trying to watch your calories, something like this is perfect.
PS – I love anything made with cinnamon.
Bitsy’s Brainfood Smart Crackers
How fun are these! I LOVE crackers. Anything crunchy really. I will probably eat this entire box in one sitting. The Maple Carrot combination sounds really good.
Goodie Girl Quinoa Choco-Chip
I’ve received Goodie Girl cookies before and I have always loved them. I also really love their packaging. Is it bad that their packaging alone makes me want to eat these?
Red Plate Foods Vegan Granola
Now THIS is awesome!! Vegan granola! This makes my little heart happy. Granola is one of those things I love but don’t eat very often. I am going to sprinkle this on top of my coconut yogurt.
Truvia
This isn’t a very exciting item for a snack box, but then again it kind of is. These little packets are perfect to have on hand. I don’t like to use regular sugar, so it will be good to have a couple of these in my purse for road trips or errand days.
Ginger Candy
Oh my goodness! I love ginger candies. They aren’t for everyone, but I personally love them. I like to have one of these after dinner or when I have an upset stomach.
Love With Food Deluxe Box Review January 2017 – Final Thoughts
I really, really, love this month’s Love With Food Deluxe Box! The mixture of snacks is pretty perfect. I love that we received some healthy options and some treat options. I am super excited about the Vegan Granola, the Aloha Greens, and the Carrot Crackers. Love With Food really does a great job when it comes to curation. I also like the fact that they have a couple different box options to choose from – Tasting Box, Deluxe Box, and Gluten-Free box. I would also REALLY love to see them come out with a Vegan Box, or a Healthy Eating Box. Until then, I am extremely happy with my Deluxe Box. It keeps my pantry full of emergency snacks!
