Lovevery Review The Senser – 5 to 6 Months

Lovevery is a subscription box designed by experts for your child’s developing brain. Their goal is to help every parent feel confident. Their play products are designed by child development experts and distilled to their simplest, purest purpose: to be exactly what children need at each stage. They kindly sent us this box for review.

This will be our third Lovevery box and let me tell you…..this subscription is a must-have for all new parents. We have gotten so much use out of our first two boxes. The toys are amazing, the play guides are extremely helpful, and I love that each box is specific to Steven’s current age. Mind you, we received today’s box a little late as Steven will be 7 months tomorrow but we will still get use out of it.

Here’s a closer look at our third Lovevery Box – The Senser. This box is for 5 to 6 months. Our next box will ship in 2 months and it will be for months 7-8.

The Senser

Until around 12 months, babies take in more information via their mouths than their fingers. We named this kit ‘The Senser’ because your baby is tasting, mouthing, and feeling everything she can get her hands on right now – and working on getting herself closer to what looks and sounds exciting to her.

This is so unbelievably true. For the last couple months Steven has been chewing on everything. He’s more alert, he’s more aware of his surroundings, and his hand coordination gets better every day.

Parts of Me

Help your baby expand their vocabulary by learning the names of different parts of the body.

This is such a simple book but such a great way for your little to learn about his body.

Montessori Ball

Purposefully designed to be easy to grasp and move, to help build dexterity and coordination.

The play guide tells us that balls are immediately responsive to touch. This is great because playing with the montessori ball will teach baby what a ball is like and how it moves. This one is easy for little Steven to grasp and it will make a fun game for us to play together – rolling the ball back and forth.

Play Socks

You found your feet! Build leg strength and body control with these playful socks.

Oh my goodness, how adorable are these socks! And SO perfect for Steven. He is constantly grabbing his feet and he gets very excited when I put new footed pj’s on him because he has new colors and patterns to look at. I can only imagine how much he is going to love these little socks.

Magic Tissue Box

Babies love to pull tissues out and put them back in as they explore containment.

This little box was inspired by babies’ love of tissue boxes which I think is hilarious. By helping baby Steven play with the magic tissue box he will be learning about emptying and filling containers.

Magic Tissues

Linkable tissues for the tissue box—also fun for peekaboo and mouthing.

Steven loves mouthing his little cloths so I already know he will love playing with these tissues.

Tummy Time Wobbler

Make tummy time more fun while building core muscle strength for crawling and walking.

This little wobbler is so darn cute and it is going to teach baby Steven so many things – tracking the moving object with his eyes, planning how he is going to grab it, and anticipating when he is going to grab it.

Spinning Rainbow

Perfect for practicing fine motor skills and reaching with both hands at once.

I think this will be such a great toy once Steven is sitting on his own…..which will probably happen any day now. Until then it will be a great toy for tummy time. It will give him an enticing reason to reach for his new toy…..practicing with one hand or both.

Play Guide

Ideas for how to play during months 5‑6, backed by all the research you don’t have time to read.

I really enjoy the Lovevery Play Guides. They have a ton of useful information. They teach us how to play with baby, what milestones they should be reaching, and how to incorporate the new toys. It’s definitely adds value to the box.

Lovevery Review The Senser – 5 to 6 Months

If you have a little at one you definitely need to consider a subscription to Lovevery. I am beyond happy with our deliveries thus far. They have provided us with some amazing toys and a lot of great information about my growing baby. We haven’t even had to buy baby Steven any other toys as of yet because he loves his Lovevery toys so much. He gets a little bored with them from time to time but I think that’s only because our Senser box arrived late. Now that he has all these new goodies to play with I can set a few of the old ones aside and bring them back out later.

I am beyond excited to show Steven his new toys….he and I will have so much fun playing with them.
