I am a huge jewelry fan and always sport necklaces and earrings. This month’s package was received late, probably due to Canada Post, but I just had to share it as it is my favourite to date!
This mintMONGOOSE package was delivered in a blue bubble mailer and inside there was a product card and a white cardstock envelope wrapped with a ribbon and stamped with a wax seal with their mintMONGOOSE logo.
They also kindly included a jewelry cleaning cloth and care instructions this month! The cleaning cloth is SO soft!
The product card reads:
“Our inspiration: This month’s set is inspired by my two little kiddos – brother and sister duo: Emma (5) and Emerson (3). A few months ago they both started showing interest in something special, which planted the seed for the story that would lead to this month’s jewelry set. I hope it brings a smile to your face!”
The product card then goes on to describe this month’s jewelry set being quirky and lacking symmetry.
“This set’s quirkiness and lack of perfect symmetry is by design. While creating the pieces, I aimed for this overall style to highlight the adorable nature that the imperfect can have, when looked at with the right perspective. I love how the pieces came together and hope you do too! A few months ago my kiddos started hunting for stars and the moon day and night! Anytime they were near a window, in the car, or outside, they were looking up trying to find the glowing gems in the sky. I decided to get them some of those glow in the dark stars that can be stuck on the ceiling. I thought they might be a fun bedtime perk each night. Best $10 I ever spent! They love them and the utter joy in their faces from something so small and seemingly simple is such an inspiration to this mama.They teach me so much… constantly.”

I am obsessed with the moon and stars, but I too forget to pause and enjoy them and life sometimes.
Inside the envelope, the jewelry was packaged in teal tissue paper and there was a “thank you” business card with their social media channels listed on the other side.
Each jewelry piece was individually bubble-wrapped, in a small plastic bag and had a mintMONGOOSE tag attached. This is a nice touch if you wanted to give or gift a piece to someone else.
This month I received a ring, earrings and necklace in silver. Let’s take a look at the pieces:
These earrings are so fun! There are little stars on them and they have a slight dangle.These earrings will be a unique addition to my wardrobe, or will make a spectacular gift. As always, they are versatile and can be dressed both up and down to suit any occasion.
This necklace was the spoiler piece released by mintMONGOOSE earlier in October and I am obsessed with it! It is unique, imperfect and my favourite necklace to date! This necklace is a nice tie-in to the earrings as it has the same stars, but also a moon – my favourite! This necklace can stand on it’s own or be paired with the earrings and next piece. I have been wearing this piece on its own as it is absolutely stunning and have received so many compliments.
This ring is dainty and classy, and I really love it. I really love the circular designs as it reminds me of phases of the moon. It is adjustable and could be worn on its own or with the other pieces. I have been wearing this piece on its own as it is absolutely stunning and have received so many compliments.
The October 2020 MintMONGOOSE package had three beautiful silver jewelry pieces that fit the “imperfect nature” theme well. All three pieces could be worn together or separately and would go well with many outfits. My favourite piece is the necklace and I am going to give the earrings to my darling niece, who also just discovered her love of the moon and stars. The value was not provided for each piece, but I would happily pay $15.99 for this set. The MintMONGOOSE subscription would be great for anyone who already loves jewelry or is looking to add to their collection without breaking the bank!
