Miss Musclebox Review May 2021

Mix gym apparel, a workout routine, tasty but healthy food and fitness accessories and you just made a perfect box for anyone aiming for a well-balanced life with exercises and healthy habits. That balance can be hard to sustain for a long period of time and from my experience, a little incentive can always be helpful to keep pushing yourself in the right way.

Miss Musclebox is the box I would recommend adding to your routine for extra fun, and to keep you motivated. It is filled with quality products and professional workout routines at a very reasonable price. The value of the box is over the double of the subscription price. Here are the details for this subscription:

  • $22.99/month + $7 shipping in the US, international shipping price varies
  • Miss Musclebox donates $1 from every box to Paradise 4 Kids

Miss Musclebox kindly sent me this box for review. Here is what I received this month and what I thought of the products…

Dynamix V2 Booty Shorts – HyprMV

These Booty Shorts are so comfortable. The stretchy material makes them perfect for any workout or stretching routine. I rarely opt for high waist shorts or pants, but I find this pair superb and the fit is just right. They come in black, light gray, olive, navy and dark grey (the one I got). These shorts will be ideal for hot Summer days.

Movement Band – HyprMV

This item is cool, useful and will fit with any outfit. The size adjustment can be easily done, and you barely feel it on your waist. The material might not be 100% waterproof but will certainly survive a heaving sweating session or a few drops of rain if you are going for a run on a rainy day.

At first, I wondered how my phone could fit in that little pocket, but my iPhone 6 (not the biggest, but still) fits easily. The pocket is folded in a way at the back that makes it extend surprisingly. I would not use it while working out at home, but for rock climbing or to go for a run, it will be of great use.

Protein Cookie (double dark chocolate) – Munk Pack

This cookie looks delicious and very filling. It is high in protein (16g) but if you eat it all (that would be 2 servings), it is 320 calories. Half of it is still reasonable and makes a great after workout snack. With a total of 8g of sugar for one serving, it is still better than most store-bought bars. This cookie is also vegan and gluten-free.

Keto Cereal, Fruity Rubbles – Snack House

These look like super sweet cereals from my youth and just as good. Instead of a load of sugar, it is packed with protein (15g) mostly coming from milk protein isolate and whey protein concentrate. I will try these with my children to see if they suspect a difference from other sugary brands they have tried before.

Chocolate Puffs – Snack House

These look similar to the Fruity Rubbles but in another flavor. They do not advertise them as cereals but more like a snack. This is also a keto snack with a total of 5g of carbs, with no sugar and a lot of protein (15g). A protein filled snack is always a good option since it helps your body to recover from your last training and makes a reserve of energy that will last longer then what a sugary treat would offer.

Monthly Workout

This month’s workout is a 21 day calendar to sculpt your arms. Once the QR code is scanned, Miss Musclebox workouts library will open in your browser. The program is detailed in a 12-page document. The first 7 pages are all about what is the program, the muscle groups in your arms, the benefits of arm training and the how to of each exercise you will do in the next 21 days.

The exercises are well described, but there is only a little drawing as an example, so I recommend watching a demonstration on YouTube or a similar website to make sure you will do it properly.

This program looks fun and well balanced. The schedule is a repeating sequence of:

  • Arm day
  • Leg day
  • Rest day

You have more repetitions to do as you advance in the program and you get to choose what lower body exercises you want to do. I think those 21 days will fly by.

Miss Musclebox May 2021 Review – Final Thoughts

This was my first Miss Musclebox and it was as much fun to unbox as I expected. The snacks are perfect for after workouts with lots of protein and they look delicious. One thing I liked a lot are the shorts. They are made of quality fabric and the fit was perfect. Great addition to my wardrobe. I have started the program and like how easy it is to place in my busy schedule and that motivates me to keep working out. Miss Musclebox will most certainly help me to stay motivated to eat healthy and keep moving everyday.
