Nicely Noted Review April 2016

I haven’t reviewed Nicely Noted since December and I was really starting to miss it. I can’t even tell you how nice it is to have cute little greeting cards on hand at all times. I keep them in a box and just open it up anytime I need a birthday card, thank you card or “just because” card. I LOVE not having to run to the store to wonder the card aisle.

If you aren’t familiar with Nicely Noted it is a monthly letterpress subscription service. Every month they send you a package with 3 cards and stamps to mail them (US subscriptions only). This box was provided complimentary for review.

This month’s product card says to grab a pen and a blanket and head outside with these “nature inspired” notes. I actually really like that idea. I know a lady who takes time every week to sit down with her cup of tea and writes letters/cards to her loved ones…….how nice does that sound.

Thank You Explosion (Power & Light Press) – Representing sun piercing the crisp blue sky, this Thank You card will definitely be used. These are my favourite greeting cards……can you ever say Thank You too many times?

Ursa Major (Bears Eat Berries) – Representing the magic of the night sky, I’m not sure what I will use this one for, but it definitely fits the theme.

Fishing Flies (Noteworthy Paper & Press) – Beautifully illustrated printed flies, this would be a perfect card for any outdoor enthusiast. I really like the design on this one, its gorgeous.

Thoughts: I sure did miss my Nicely Noted monthly delivery. I had to use a few cards out of my collection over the last couple months, and really needed to replenish the stock. To be totally honest, this month’s selection isn’t my favourite, I prefer cards with a little more color, or cute little sayings, but at the same time these are a nice change. I like the idea of an outdoor theme, and will definitely find recipients for these beauties.

XOXO
