Here’s a closer look at the items I received this month….
Included in every box is a mini pink booklet detailing all of the hand-picked products each month. You’ll get in-depth descriptions, instructions (in English, of course) and upcoming news!
Canmake Lip Tint Jam – No.4 Espresso Jam (Japan)
I’m a huge fan of the Japanese makeup brand Canmake, and their Lip Tint Jam is so good! The lip tint comes with a flexible paddle applicator that makes it easy to apply. Plus, the watery gel tint glides on effortlessly to give a sheer, but pigmented, wash of color. Espresso Jam is a unique orangey-brown hue that’s my ideal shade for the fall time.
Etude House Oh My Lash Mascara – No.3 Volume or No.4 Curling (Korea)
Etude House’s Curl Fix! Long Lash Mascara has been my go-to mascara for the past few months, so I was excited to try the Oh My Lash Mascara in No.4 Curling this month. I always use an eyelash curler, so I didn’t notice the curling effect of this mascara. However, it did add quite a bit of length without any clumping or flaking!
Fiancee Fragrance Body Sheets – 20 Sheets (Japan)
The Fiancee Fragrance Body Sheets are the perfect way to easily freshen up any time and any where! These have a fruity pink grapefruit scent that will easily cover up any B.O. after a gym session, or just after a hot day. Plus, they feel moisturizing on refreshing on the skin too.
Speed Off Brush Cleaning Sheets – 12 Sheets (Japan)
If you’re an avid makeup wearer, then you know how time consuming cleaning makeup brushes can be. Luckily, these Speed Off Brush Cleaning Sheets can clean your brushes with just a few swipes! These sheets contain Alkaline electrolyzed water, which helps to effectively remove foundation, oil, dirt, and etc. from your makeup brushes.
Japanese Bath Powder – Daruma Doll, Lucky Cat, or Dog (Japan)
The Japanese Bath Powder comes in 3 cute designs: Daruma Doll, Lucky Cat or Dog. To use, deposit the bath powder while drawing a bath, and then relax and soak! I received Lucky Cat, which contains orange blossom oils to help moisturize and nourish the skin during a bath.
Berrisom Pierrot Green Tea or Skull Black Rice Sheet Mask (Korea)
These sheet masks by Berrisom come with a fun design printed directly onto the mask. I received the Skull Black Rice mask, which features a cool skeleton print. The essence contains rice extract, which helps to brighten the skin’s tone and improve elasticity. Side note: this is our third Berrisom sheet mask in a row, and I was kind of hoping for a new brand this month!
Fluffy Cleansing Pad (Japan)
The Fluffy Cleansing Pad is a reusable cleansing cloth that can remove makeup, exfoliate, and cleanse! Use with lukewarm water and gently rub onto the skin to remove dirt, makeup, and dead skin cells.
Patting Panda Tool (Japan)
The Patting Panda Tool can be used to pat toner/lotion onto the skin. Attach a cotton pad onto the face of the panda and secure it with the ring. Soak the cotton pad in your preferred toner/lotion and use the handle to gently pad the product onto the skin. I absolutely LOVE receiving cool new beauty tools in my nmnl box, but this one was a miss for me… It made applying toner take 5 minutes longer than usual, with no visible results!
NoMakeNoLife Review May 2019 – Final Thoughts
This month’s NoMakeNoLife box focused on items to help enhance one’s natural beauty. I tend to opt for a minimal makeup look on a daily basis, so this theme was right up my alley! I loved this month’s product selection (thank goodness, no hand cream this month!), and I was really happy to see some unique items like the Fragrance Body Sheets and the Patting Panda Tool.
My favorite items this month was the Canmake Lip Tint Jam, the Speed Off Brush Cleansing Sheets, and the Fluffy Cleansing Pad!
