I love to review Postmark’d Studio as it is one of the best stationery subscriptions on the market! I love sending snail mail, getting crafty and giving thoughtful cards.
My Postmark’d Studio PostBox arrived in a white mailer envelope with everything bound and packaged beautifully inside.
Anne (the owner) always includes a handmade card with a personal note – I feel so special every time I receive it. I love this month’s note, “Greetings of the season & best wishes for a New Year.”

“The December PostBox is filled with the sweet scent of gingerbread and peppermint! I have always admired the magical qualities of a beautifully decorated gingerbread cookie, so by taking a cue from that special holiday tradition the December PostBox was curated. May your holiday season be filled with magical, sweet memories whether you celebrate in person or from afar. See you at the mailbox! -Anne”
Each Postmark’d Studio PostBox is so well-curated and I love this “Sugar & Spice” theme this month. I cannot wait to see what sweet items Anne has included for this month’s PostBox. Sugar and spice remind me of the holiday season. On the other side of the product card were these adorable gingerbread stickers to add to your holiday cards!
Gingerbread House 3D Card
“Kathryn Hunter began Blackbird Letterpress in 2003 in Lafayette, LA, after she bought a Chandler & Price 8×12 letterpress. In eighteen years, the shop has moved twice to bigger spaces and has added four additional vintage presses to meet the demands of the stationery business.”
This card is so sweet! I love that it is a 3D card and have gifted it to my niece. My sister said she adored it. How cool!
Gingerbread Gram Card
“Lindsay Henry, founder, and creative director, began Inklings Paperie in 2010. It all started with Lindsay’s vision to upcycle the offcuts from the printer’s press sheet that were going to be thrown away. At inklings Paperie their mission is to inspire kindness with fun, fresh and innovative products.”
This confetti gram is such a wonderful idea to upcycle the offcuts! Anyone would feel so darn special receiving this card. The gingerbread people and the sequins are such a magical touch!
Merry Gingerbread Card
“Susan Porteous runs Green Bird Press, located in Bend, OR with the help of her Green Cheek Conure, a cute and fluffy, often annoying parakeet named Stormy. Although the little bird came up with the press name and lent her image to the logo, she isn’t much help in the shop. She’s too small to operate the presses and can’t be around even the least toxic inks, so while Stormy is generally just being a bird, it falls to Susan to run the business!”
How fun is this holiday card?! Haha, I laughed out loud when I opened it and know the exact person that I plan to send it to this holiday season.
Gingerbread Cookie Card
“Paula Skene Designs, located in San Francisco, CA began in 1980 when Paula left her “day job” and moved Paula Skene Designs from her garage to a real building. She purchased her first foil stamping and embossing press and assembled a team to move the business forward. For over 30 years. Paula’s mission has been to create the highest quality notes that reflect unique designs that captivate and hold your attention.”
This is a beautiful card with a sweet gingerbread person on it. I know just the person I will gift it to.
Peace, Love and Candy Canes Card
“Kate Murray, the owner, printer and sole employee of Quick Brown Fox Letterpress based in Saugerties, NY started her business in 2015 after paying her dues working in amazing letterpress studios for over 10 years. Each colorful, pun-filled card is printed one at a time, one color at a time, with immaculate registration on an antique letterpress. Some people may say, ’11 colors for one card?! That’s a lot of colors!’ Kate always says, ‘there’s no such thing as too many colors.’”
This Peace, Love and Candy Canes card is just stunning! I appreciate a good pun and I am obsessed with the design and colours used. My best friend will love this card.
Artsy Doodad: A set of three Stabilo Point 88 fine liner pens
“The 0.4 mm tip provides the smooth, expressive writing of a marker, thin in size that works for everyday writing and sketching.”
These pens are my favourite! Perfect to write in my planner and cards with!
Bonus: Red Bird Peppermint Puffs

I cannot rave about these Red Bird Peppermint Puffs enough. They melt in your mouth and are so delicious. My family and I really loved them.

The postage this month is vintage and awesome. Subscribers always receive enough postage to mail the cards in their monthly postbox.
Postmark’d Studio Review December 2021 – Final Thoughts
The December Postmark’d Studio PostBox is so well-curated and it fits the “Sweet & Spice” theme perfectly! All of the items are beautiful, high-quality and unique, and will be so fun to send or receive in the mail. I think my favourite item is the Gingerbread House 3D Card and the Gingerbread Confetti Gram card. As always, all of the items are awesome! Postmark’d Studio is a subscription that will keep you supplied with amazing and original greeting cards for every occasion. It’s the perfect box for stationery lovers and snail mail enthusiasts.
