Postmark’d Studio Review June 2018

PostBox is a card box from Postmark’d Studio. Each PostBox subscription comes with a monthly, limited-edition selection of beautiful handcrafted artisanal greeting cards and postcards crafted by artists around the globe. They kindly sent us this box for review.

I have to say……I think this just might be my favourite Postmark’d Studio box thus far. I saw a couple little sneak peeks for the June box and had a pretty good feeling I was going to love it……and from first glance, I think I was right. They put together a pretty amazing box this month! It’s giving me all the Summer feels….

June Details: Backyard BBQ

The June Postmark’d Studio box has a BBQ theme and I think that was a really great idea on their part. I’m not sure if I’ve ever seen a BBQ theme in any of the boxes I have received previous to this so they not only get points for originality but they also get points for picking a theme that complements the time of year perfectly.

Here’s a closer look at the super fun items we received in the June Postmark’d Studio box…..

Friendship Like This is Rare

A card for a pun loving friend! Oh, the fun you will have asking them: do you want to ‘meat’ up soon; do you still have a ‘beef; with me; or are the ‘steaks’ too high?

Oh Hi, located in New Orleans, LA, is the work of Tony and Madisyn. They design cheerful and optimistic products created with unique hand lettering and illustrations.

Now…..let’s not forget one very important thing…..I have been vegan for almost 8 years (maybe more) but I still appreciate this amazing card. It’s funny, designed well, and it fits the theme perfectly. We are off to a good start.

Summer BBQ

Perfect for an opener: send an invite. Perfect for a closers: send a thank you. Perfectly perfect for a hand written note.

Hartford Prints, located in Hartford, CT is handmade and homegrown love. Three sisters working together to make and do good things.

I think this one would be perfect as a Thank You card to send to guests you’ve had over for a BBQ celebration – whether it be a Birthday, Anniversary, Grad…..you name it.

Franks A Lot

This little retro dog has a ‘make you smile’ style. Imagine the smile when spread some extra kindness sending a thank you for a thank you!

Violet Press and Paper located in Longmont, CO, started with a trip to the craft store. She opened a retail store this spring. If you are ever in Longmont, drop in and meet Vi (rhymes with sky) and her press named Dorothy.

This is just too funny! I can see myself using this as a Thank You card for a friend who has helped me with something, been there for me, etc…..

Summer Grillin’

Honor a grill master Dad, kudos to a grad for a job well done, or how about have a smoking birthday!

Hazelmade, located in Kent, OH, is created by Susan Hazel Rich. Hazelmade started as a diversion from Susan’s day job as a graphic designer. We think that it is extremely special that Susan’s conviction to love the products she creates and use them in her daily life is the cornerstone of her brand.

This is just a great little miscellaneous card. Use it for any occasion throughout the Summer….whatever that may be.

Let’s Catch Up

Fact: everyone loves getting packages. A little thinking of you gift. We all love the idea of finding a brown paper package tied up with string in our mailbox. The postcard gift set includes 1 bar of rosemary scented soap and a wood soap dish. *Soap ingredient list: http://bytoysoap.com/ingredients/.

T.o.Y. [Thought of You] Soap, located in San Francisco, CA was created by Gordon and Allison Tam. They wanted to create something they could do as a family and maybe even someday pass it on.

How great is this little package of soap!!! What a thoughtful gift for a host or hostess. Or even a “just because” gift. I absolutely LOVE it. I would like to have a few of these on hand. It really is the perfect little gift.

Ant Gift Tags

It’s always nice to have gift wrapping supplies at the ready! These adorable gift tags are the perfect accessory for a backyard barbecue host gift.

Lana is the artist and creative driver behind Lana’s Shop, located in Denver, CO. Lana loves bright and organic designs, patters and textures, and making sincere and heartfelt connections with people.

It’s always nice to have gift tags on hand and these are so darn cute!!!

Postmark’d Studio Review June 2018 – Final Thoughts

Now do you see why I love this subscription so much?! The June Postmark’d Studio box is just too cute for words. Or maybe fun is a better word. Either way, I am in love with the BBQ theme and all the items they included in the box. I love the cards and I love the little gift box complete with soap and soap dish. The little ant gift tags were a nice touch as was the adorable matchstick notebook. They really did an amazing job with this month’s box. I appreciate the time and energy that must have gone in to the curation. They always do an amazing job. Just another reason I love this subscription so darn much!

XOXO
